Chapter 17

I looked at her in disbelief. Hina's dad was a cop!?

"Mo-kun, what are you doing here??"

I looked at her with tears in my eyes. I couldn't keep them in and she said, "M-Mo-kun, why are you crying!?"

I wiped my tears, but they wouldn't stop falling. I pulled my sleeve out and kept trying to wipe it, but I couldn't.

Suddenly, Hina pulled me into a hug, and I started crying harder.

"It's okay, Mo-kun, if you don't wanna tell me, then we can wait."

She smiled at me, and it made me feel a little bit better. Just a little though.

"I need to go, take care of him for now." Their dad said.

He left, and Hina brought me in. A woman, who I was assuming was her mom, came to the door and closed it saying,

"Oh my, who is this? And why are they crying!? Are they ok?!?"

"This is my friend Mo, and I think something happened.. I'm gonna take him to my room, mom. Call us when dinner is ready!"

"Ok, Hinata!"

We went to her room, and it was really cute. It had bright wooden floors, and pink walls.

She had a fluffy and soft pink rug in the middle of the room, with hot pink pillows to sit on.

In the middle of the pillows, there was a brown coffee table. I think that was one of the darkest colors in the room.

In the corner of the room, her bed was right there, and it was a cute bright pink bedset with hearts.

On the other side, she had a dark brown dresser, with a picture of her and a dark haired boy.

He looked like their dad. We sat down on the bed, and she asked me, "Do you want to tell me now??"

I nodded slowly, and told her what happened. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!!"

"It's okay, you didn't know.." I looked away and then I remembered something.

"Hina, do you have a phone anywhere??" I asked. She said yes and showed me where it was.

I thanked her and typed in a number. It didn't pick up the first time, so I tried again.

"Come on..." On the third time, it picked up. I felt so relieved, and I put the phone up to my ear.

"Gramps!" I said, happy that he picked up. "It's Mo! I just needed to tell you something."

"IF ITS ABOUT SHINICHIRO, THEN I KNOW ALREADY.." He said. "I-It's not about him..I just needed to tell you that I'm staying at a friends house tonight.."

"OKAY.. MANJIRO WILL BRING CLOTHES FOR YOU, OKAY?? BE SAFE.. BYE"

"Bye.." I hung up and asked Hina, "Hina, can I spend the night here??" She nodded and hugged me.

"If you don't have any clothes, then you might have to sleep in my dad's though, hehe."

"No it's fine, Manjiro's bringing some right now!"

                                                 (Manjiro's P.O.V.)

I finally got to the apartment, and I rang the doorbell. Someone came up to the door and opened it.

I was kinda suprised to see Moon there. Her eyes were puffy and red, like she had been crying.

I felt really bad for her, so I said, "I packed your clothes. I also put in 3 pads and your Demon Slayer blanket.." 

I looked away and blushed. I heard her giggle and say, "Thank you, baby.." I looked over to her and said,

"No problem, Mochi." I smiled and kissed her. After a second I pulled away and said, "I'll see you tomorrow!"

"Okay!" She said back. I waved to her and she waved back as I left. As I left I whispered ''I love you.."
