Chapter 24

Hey Mikey-..." You both turned around and saw Ken at the door staring at you two.

"GET THE HELL OUT!" "IT'S NOT MY FAULT THE DOOR IS UNLOCKED!" "KNOCK NEXT TIME!"

He went outside and waited for ya'll to clean yourselves up before going outside.

"What the hell do you want, Ken?" You asked. You were very irritated because you were having the time of your life.

"I-I came to ask if ya'll wanted to visit Baji with me. He didn't get very long in prison. Only two months."

"Okay, and don't mention what you saw to him, okay Ken-chin?"

He was scared but at the same time scarred. He didn't want to see that.

"O-Okay. Come on." You both followed him, and on the way there, you would stumble a bit.

Right as you almost fell over, someone caught you. "Moon-chan!"

You looked to see Emma. You mentally cursed yourself because you can't walk right.

"Are you alright? You seem to be stumbling a lot." You nodded your head indicating yes.

Your voice was kinda scratched up from earlier. After all, you were practically screaming.

She didn't trust you though. "Why are you limping?"

"Mikey stepped on her toe and it really hurt. So much that she might not walk well for the rest the week."

Ken looked at Manjiro accusingly while he just stared back.

Emma looked and Manjiro angrily and hit his head. "IDIOT!"

She looked back at you and noticed something. "OH MY GOD, ARE YOU OKAY? WHY DO YOU HAVE ALL THESE RED SPOTS?"  

You blushed a bit and tried to cover it. "I-I'm fine" You tried to say it normally, but it stil came out raspy.

"Why do you sound like that?" "I had yelped because I got my toe hurt, but it was too loud and now my voice hurts."

"Okay.. well, where are ya'll going?" "We're going to visit Baji in jail, wanna come?" "Sure!"

 She started walking with ya'll and held you up. As ya'll were walking, Manjiro tried to strike up a conversation.

"Emma, what were you doing? I thought you were at home."

"Oh, I went to go get a snack, but they didn't have my favorite candy in stock, so I left."

"Oh, ok." Ya'll continued walking, and soon you got there. "Welp, come on."

You walked in along with the others, and went to the front desk.

Ken told him the info, and the officer went to the cell. "Keisuke, you got visitors."

He opened the cell and brought him to where you were. He sat down as he looked at all of ya'll, tears starting to fill his eyes.

Not yet falling, but they were there. You looked at him and said hi with your head. 

(I can't describe it, sadly.)

"Yo, Kei." He looked at you all and tears left his eyes. "You guys..."

"Hey just wondering, how much is your bail??" "Huh? Why??" 

"I just wanna know." "It's $1,000.." He felt like he was asking for a bail or money, and he felt guilty about it.

"Ok, I was just asking."  You looked away to get lost in your thoughts.

(That's nothing. I can afford that.) "Hey, Baji.. how long are you in here?"

Ken looked at him, hitting the back of his head." You idiot, I said it was two months!"

Manjiro looked at him while saying a silent 'oh'. He rubbed the back of his head and smiled, saying "Sorry."

You didn't really hear what was going on since you were in your thoughts, until Emma tapped your shoulders.

"Moon-chan, you okay?" You looked at here and nodded. 

"Moon-chan? Who's Moon-chan??" Keisuke asked. (Fuck! I forgot he didn't know my real name!)

"Huh? It's h-" Ken covered her mouth and whispered something in her ear.

"Oh, i-it's nobody!" She tried to save herself, and luckily it worked as he believed her.

"I hope your doing well. We'll try to visit you everyday, Baji." Keisuke smiled and said, "Thank you."

"TIMES UP!" The guard shouted as he grabbed Keisukes arm and took him back to his cell.

"WE'LL VISIT YOU TOMORROW!!" Manjiro screamed as we left.

You all got out of the building and started walking home once more.

As soon as you got home, you jumped into Manjiro's bed and cuddled in the blankets yawning, soon falling asleep.

"She must have been sleepy after that." Manjiro had a pink tint to his cheeks as he lay down next to you and soon fell asleep as well.
