"Where have you been?! Hindi ba nag-message na ako sayo na maaga kayong papasok dahil may meeeting?!" hindi pa ako nakakapasok sa worker's lounge ay binubungangaan na agad akong sinalubong ni Nicole.
Inis kong ibinaba ang mga gamit ko.
"Like I said Nicole, I did ran some errands." dahilan ko naman.
She scoffed causing me to glance at her with my arched brows.
She's starting to get into my nerves.
She scrutinized me using those deep brown orbs. Her eyes narrowing as she throw me that nasty glare.
"You did this on purpose, didn't you?"
What?!
I gave her a blank stare.
"What makes you think that I did this on purpose?" taas noo kong tanong sa kanya.
She shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know? Perhaps you wanted his attention?" she blunted.
And I scoffed in disbelief.
Oh for the love of God, I don't fucking care about that man and his horny ass!
"Me? Wants his attention? For fuck's sake Nicole, let me remind you that this man is begging for me to have sex with him." I pointed out.
She looked away knowing every word I spat was nothing but true.
"Then why are you doing this, Dani? Do you want to get fired?!" frustrated niyang sigaw.
Of course I don't want to get fired. Kahit gaano pa ako ka-inis sa boss ko ay wala akong choice dahil kailangan ko 'tong trabahong ito.
I rolled my eyes, clearly annoyed.
"Just so you know I really don't care about his horny ass Nicole. Nagkaproblema ako sa kalsada kaya na-late ako."
Frustrated naman siyang naupo sa couch na nasa harap ko at pinapanood akong inaayos ang mga gamit ko.
"He was pissed as hell, D! He thinks that you're not taking him seriously!"
Inis ko naman siyang binalingan ulit. She's too scared, eh ano naman kung galit sa akin ang bastos na 'yon?
"Then let him! Wala sa kontrata ko ang maging personal niyang parausan," depensa ko naman.
She pursed her lips and stared at me intently. At kahit pa nga malalim at seryoso ang tingin niya sa akin ay hindi nakaligtas sa mata ko ang bakas ng pag-aalala sa kanyang mukha.
"You don't know what this man is capable of, Dani. He won't stop until he get what he wants." seryoso niyang sabi na nagpahinto sa akin.
"Then let's see what this man can do, Nicole."
Nagpakawala siyang ng isang malalim na buntong hininga na tila ba pagod na pagod na siya sa katigasan ng ulo ko.
