"He's awake !" I heard a familiar voice shout

I could barley open my eyes and my head was pounding.

As I started to sit up I felt a force come on me.

"Oh my god,I love you so much,I thought you were gone" a feminine voice said.

Everything was still blurry

I took 3 long blinks.My vision turning clearer every time my eyes opened.

As my vision got better I started to notice that 'that force' was my oldest sister Kylie.

But before I could do anything I had to ask ."where is calum?"worriedness filling my voice.

"What i dont get a 'hey' or 'love you too'?"

"Sorry ..kyl-"

"Im just teasin boi,He's..uhmmm,, 2nd to last room on the 7th floor?"Kylie said not exactly knowing for sure

He's a patient .

"I don't even know exactly what happened"I mumbled to myself

"I'm going to go see him"I said about to stand up before my sister stopped me.

"Hah,no..,your not"she's said with a joking tone

"Yes I am!now get the fuck out of my way"

She pointed down and I looked at her confused

I started to look where she was pointing and saw a cask on my leg.

Now I'm just watching TV and flipping to see what time 'the fosters ' was coming on

*click clack*

A sound made coming from the front of the room echoed causing me to jump in fear

I turned to see my mum standing I'm the doorway with food and a tray and food atop her shoes.

"MUM!" I shouted

She ran up to me full force and hugged me

"Owe"I groaned

"Sorry hun"she said sitting next to me and touching my hair."h-how do you feel"

"I feel fine,but ...mum can you take me to calums room"

"Uh.Luke I don't think that's a good idea"she's said looking down and playing with her fingers

"Mum I have too"

"Luke you don't understand-"

"I dont care,if you don't take me there I will walk on my broken leg,that's a promise"

"Fine"she said pulling up a wheelchair that had been folded under the bed.

She knew i wasn't bluffing

We entered the room 1340,the same one from that weird ass dream.

I saw calum.

Tubes crossed over his motionless body.

A mask covering his mouth and nose.

Blood stained bandages up and down his arm

I wheeled in closer and saw his hand and grabbed it."Mum what does these color dots on our wristbands mean"

"Its to tell what estate your in,like now,your in blue,"

"And calums in yellow"I said low toned almost sobbing ,my eyes getting teary as I looked down at his wrist

"Honey ,its okay,he's showing a lot of progress"

"But he started in red"I said blankly as if my mum hadn't said anything

"Meaning,,I almost killed my best friend"by this time tears rushed down my face as I looked at calum

"Luke,you tried to get him home safe"

"But I didn't"

The room was silently awkward

The only sound was me sobbing next to calun whispering "I'm sorry ".

I sat in the room for hours .

Until I was startled by a noise.A few doctors came in pushing in a bed with a girl on it who seemed to be asleep.

I didn't know calum was sharing a room?

"Excuse me sir?"I called to one doctor as he was about to leave.he turned around with a questioning expression on his face

"Can you tell me exactly what's wrong with my friend,like why he won't wake up"I finished my ,voice getting shaky

The doctor came up and lifted up a paper that's attached to the side of the bed.

"Victim of car accident,highly drugged,and intoxicated,accident caused by..."he squinted his To see the words "driver being under the influence "

I looked down at my hands before the doctor asked "Thats all you need to know kiddo?"

"Y-yeah that's all"

No ,its not ,thats not what I was asking.

The doctor nodded before leaving the room

"Calum please,"

I cant even explain how I feel right now.

Im so mad!!

Like anger fills my veins down from my head to my fingertips.

I'm so angry I can't explain it.Its like my already pounding head,Is about to pound off my my shoulders

because its my fault

I have to Sit here and and see my friend,like this,because of me.

There's no one else to blame.

I should be,,,punished

But no ones doing anything about it,so I'll just have to do it myself
