In the ocean of disparity, he instructed a harp be played for him whiles he revisit his blood slaves , he tried picturing Pearl in their place, as he covered their faces with their own hair strands.

He sank into the first neck after a short hesitation, he took a first draw till it was full in his mouth and swallowed it at a go, he clenched his teeth to prevent any regurgitation.

Surviving through that, he sent them all but her away, she sat under his feet in wait for his next draw , whiles he observed the performance going on for him, Lloyd came by and watched with him.

Pearl went to the servants quarters to spend time with Matrona who was overly excited to be around her again, Pearl apologized to her for getting her involved in such an adventure.

She replied saying she's okay as long as they could be around each other, Ariana in anger and feeling humiliated, stepped out to initiate her plan to sabotage Pearl.

She took on the form of Pearl with black magic and horsed towards the border of Yezskhetc, she set ablaze their border and massacred a portion of the citizens, employing black magic.

She made sure to be recognized by all eyes that saw her, " sorry Nathan! But I'm not a dreamer, I've got a mission and a crown to own, let's see how you get out of this, Almighty Pearl!".

She said and left without a trace, she warded off the enchantment and sneaked back to the palace but, quite unfortunately, Pearl met her halfway.

She smelled smoke on her before she sped off to her room, she ignored and headed to her room, on meeting Nathan's absence ,she thought he might have gone out to have some alone time, so, she freshened up and went to bed.

Three hours on , Nathan was still with the academy, about to take his third draw when a loud war cry sound was approaching the kingdom, a group of knights lead by Fabian and the other members of the realm leaders entered the palace.

Nathan felt their disturbance might deter his beloved from resting so he hurried to meet them, Ariana popped champaign on the after effect of her plot that's about to unfold, after which she left to join the others . Nathan had them brought to the throne room where he sat to hear them out.

they brought out a projector and showed the disaster Pearl was seen creating, Nathan went wide eyed to what he was seeing but wasn't surprised at all, he patiently listened to Fabian give details of the scene as if that was his kingdom.

" Did you set up your human to this huh? You called for another sitting to register your compensation, didn't you? so what is this then?", Pearl came there and was surprised by what she was watching, it was her in the armor causing havoc,

" I have no idea what this is about, but that person isn't me!" she clarified enraging Fabian the more, "shut up! you little human!" his anger was seen standing in between himself and her, the pain of losing his precious sorcerer in her hand served as a fuel,

" you don't talk when I talk, morsel of sand! Her involvement in this world's issues is getting worrying , you let this happen on purpose huh!" he ranted when Pearl wished Nathan could defend her or say something, " Pearl!," Nathan called, " did you do this huh?" Fabian scoffed with a smirk thinking that was a ridiculous question,

" you believe I'll set my eyes on causing chaos and will do that to only a small fraction of that kingdom?" her answer caused the room to be filled with murmur whiles Nathan stared at her and she reciprocated waiting for his reply. "who do you think you are?" the newly crowned queen yelled at her and motioned to harm her, "if you love your life so much, then I'd advise you don't carry out what you've got in mind, Dorothy!" Nathan grinned with a red blood irises.

Ariana was having her fun behind the scenes, "it appears you cannot control your little human , Nathan! you boast of ruling two kingdoms yet, you can't discipline such a low life!" Fabian barked before grabbing her neck, Nathan rose from his seat before Dubey and Barrack arrived to curb the situation Hey pleaded on her behalf for one more chance as that might open a new portal to mayhem .

" she's just an ignorant human, we cannot devour ourselves because of her nuisance , our world must be in unity, to achieve our goal!" Fabian dropped her to the ground but Lloyd helped her up , "the very next time any issue arises because of this human, she won't be spared, Nathan! that will be her death , she will face the punishment of thunderbolt , those two spires that your late father erected have starved for too long, Nathan!"

Pearl stared sternly at him until she saw him giving a dart towards Ariana, who nodded to him with a smile. she quickly recollected her entrance earlier and the smoke she smelled on her, she suspected their connection and was confident of her intuition when she thought back to where Ariana claimed she learnt how to fight.

Nathan hated the fact that he had to hold back after how he mishandled Pearl, Fabian and his people left feeling victorious , Nathan held Pearl's hand and sped away with her to their room, he tilted her neck to see if there were any marks left, " that person in that video isn't me alright? I've never even been to that location, someone is trying to frame me here!" she hinted, and observed he was just staring at her.

" do you believe I'll do something so insignificant as that? I haven't even been out there?", she tried to convince him, when he let out his thoughts, "I believe you, Pearl! but, something else could also be true in there, you might not have been the one , .. little Pearl could also be in the picture somewhere, I'm not saying she came back ,but.. we can look from that angel too!".

Pearl gazed for a while realizing there's no way he would even believe if she was to tell him about Ariana, so she climbed up the bed and slept facing the other space opposite to him, "Pearl!" he calmly said ,but she ignored him, " goodnight!" he wished her and returned to the throne room.

" I could have handled my own issue, Dubey! you do not ask a second chance for my woman on an issue she barely knows anything about!" Dubey shot him a glare thinking Nathan was out of his mind!

" your loneliness and desire for her has corrupted your judgement, Nathan! take a break and open your eyes before she ruins all that our family has sweat its blood to make!" He hissed to the king's face, "stay away from her, Dube! this is my kingdom and if you can't bear how I choose to rule it , you are welcome to leave !"
