So, today was very interesting.
Our school is opening a new school for elementary which is 30 times bigger than our middle school and high school, and they made us preform a song called free falling (by Tom petty) in the school, (they held a concert).
We have been practicing this shit song for a month now and we still failed
So right after school the van took everyone to the new building and we immediately were told to go sit, we didn't practice playing it or anything and we didn't know when we would come on stage, so everyone in my class and the lower grade (they have music with us) were shaking.
Anyways the concert went horribly wrong, most people were sick the days we were practicing so they had no idea what we were even doing and they had to try their best but ofc we embarrassed ourselves.
Darren was singing ans it didn't really go well because he messed up some parts. I don't have any videos or recordings because my mom came late lmao so she didn't get to record but it was awful. We had a similar situation last year where we had to do a concert with a song we didn't know how to play and it was BAD.
Coca Cola came up to me after the free falling performance and was like "this is the second time he's embarrassed us" and yeah lmao it wasn't good, but ofc I was playing piano and did a wonderful job at it. (I did ok, not my best)
When the high schoolers where performing, Darren was looking at his old crush with stars in his eyes istg but who can blame him
Anyways interesting day... LMAOO
