Ipo vango, story kula polam...
'Saaral, unaku evlo sonalum pathadhu ma..ni senjathu uthavi ila..avanoda life aye avanuku thirumba kuduthu iruka...'
Dhamo held Saaral's hand and shed tears, while Saaral smiled and held his hand,
'Pa, na ithula ethume panala..unmaya yaralayum marachu vaika mudiyathu pa..avaroda nalla manasukum nermaikum kedachadhu ithu..(sighs) ivlo varshama anubavicha kashtam elame ini iruntha edam theriyama poirum..(smiles) unga paiyan epovume thala nimirnthu mattum tha niparu...nikka vaipen...'
Dhamo couldn't hold back his tears. All his worries about his son vanished at that moment when Saaral gave him the assurance. It was not just that; it was a promise. Her eyes conveyed that with much determination, more than that Dhamo saw a savior of his son in her. The savior of his dignity; of him.
Dhamo didn't feel empty anymore; being a single father, he felt worried when Aabharan lost his mother during the precious phase of his life in which a mother should have been there to cherish that small boy and take care of him. Unfortunately, Aabharan had to miss his mother's warmth regardless of Dhamo's love which he showered enormously, to fill the gap of his mother, even though he knew that it was not going to be fulfilled to the fullest.
Today, the moment he looked into Saaral's genuine eyes and listened to her sincere words; it overwhelmed him. He felt that his son got not only his life companion, but his mother. A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no discretion, no discrimination, it dares all things and crushes down all the struggles that stands in its path. Today, Saaral's love for Aabharan withstood strongly, bringing down all his sorrows and concerns about his son.
'Pudicha kaiya vitratha ma..' he smiled, but a tinge of fear was there in his eyes, which worried Saaral.
Without even thinking, her lips uttered the next words,
'Innum gettiya pudichupen pa..'
Aabharan stood in his rooftop, gazing the night sky. Everything felt like a dream until now. His overwhelming emotions took over his words that he went speechless since what he witnessed and heard.
When he saw her approaching, he wished to hug her and cry on her shoulders, but he controlled himself. Never in his life, he felt that this petite woman would give him the feel of satisfaction in all means. It was not only romantic but way more than that.
Saaral smiled at him, and he too smiled back but they spoke nothing. Dakshan, Prashanth and Rahul sensed what they were undergoing, and kept silent until they opened up. They travelled to his home in silence, but their hearts were screaming their yearnings to voice out.
Even though Saaral yearned for him to talk something, she also felt how it would have been for him to experience everything together. What she didn't realise was the man-kid who had discovered his mother in her.
That moment felt eternal. It was not just love; it was something more. He couldn't express what it was, but he felt blessed. He felt the long-lost warmth was back again.
