Here's another one for you needy people >:(

(I have no right to say this as I haven’t updated in forever, my bad-)

“Well this won’t do.” Veri said distastefully, eyeing the outfits Aza and Xavier had chosen. He had come back roughly an hour later, claiming he had had business to attend to. His shining new black suit suggested otherwise.

Xavier had changed into another plain black hoodie, black pants and brown mountain boots, while Aza had chosen a black leather jacket, black leather pants and a belt for her knives.

“Why are the outfits all black?” He asked, gesturing to the two. “Black is fine, but you need a little bit of color in there.” He spread his arms to show off his own black outfit, which had golden buttons and a red tie to top it off. “See! A bit of color can’t do any harm.”

Elias snorted and got a glare in return.“You’re very lucky you’re a ghost. If those clothes could be changed, believe me, they would be.” Veri commented, looking at his clothes with obvious hatred.

Elias raised his hands in a placanting manner. “Don’t worry, I believe you.”

“We have to be inconspicuous, I really don't want any unwanted attention caused by flashy clothing.” Aza interrupted, crossing her arms defiantly.

“I’m not suggesting glitter and neon colors!” Veri sounded genuinely offended. “Let me find something else, this obviously is not one of your talents.”

He rolled his eyes and disappeared behind one of the racks of clothes, being his usual dramatic self. Elias looked at the other two and snickered. Xavier looked like a kicked puppy, staring after Veri wide-eyed, while Aza just looked down-right murderous.

“‘Not one of my talents’?” She hissed, glaring at the row Veri had walked into.

After Aza and Xavier had suffered through at least five complete makeovers (which Veri dismissed with loads of colorful phrases), they finally settled on two outfits.

Aza ended up keeping the leather outfit, but with a dark red jacket with a few golden accents instead of a black one. She also relented into getting a brown belt with a golden clasp. Veri had convinced Xavier to try on ‘anything but the mountain boots’, so he now wore black sneakers. He was wearing blue jeans with a black hoodie with silver thread woven into it. Veri had expressed that it wasn’t entirely to his liking multiple times, but after an hour of changing in and out of clothes Xavier had ran out of patience. At some point he actually growled at the God, so Veri had made the very wise decision to back off.

“This should be acceptable for now.” Veri said, looking only a little disappointed at their clothes. “I will take you to Osior now, come on.”

Aza and Xavier both let out relieved sighs and followed Veri, while Elias looked them up and down with a grin on his face.

“Looking good, guys. Much better than the all-black outfits. Whose funeral were you planning to go to?” Elias joked, sending both of them a wink.

“That’s exactly my point, it looked so boring and depressing.” Veri said without turning around, not realizing it was a joke. Elias barely stopped himself from snickering.

They followed the God of the Underworld through many corridors, all looking identical. It was very disorientating, though Veri seemed to know exactly where he was going. How he kept track of all these different halls would remain a mystery.
