3rd person POV:

The day of the archery tournament came, and what a lovely day it was. There was a marching band. There were elephants playing a lovely trumpet piece with their trunks. Villagers came from far and wide to watch. Meanwhile, in the royal box, Prince John was evilly laughing to himself.

Prince John's POV:

I was a little less than audibly laughing to myself at the plan I'd set up.

"Hiss, this is a red-letter day. A coup d'etat to coin a Norman phrase," I explained to the overgrown worm.

"Ooh. Oh, yess, indeed, ssire. Your plan to capture Robin Hood in public is sheer genius," he smiled, as I frowned and noticed he was sitting higher than me, I decided to remind him.

"Hiss, no one sits higher than the king. Must I remind you, Hiss?" I asked, slightly annoyed and pulling him down on his body.

"Do... Do forgive me, sire. I didn't mean to..." he started before I cut him off.

"My trap is baited and set. And then revenge! Ah! Revenge!" I exclaimed, joyfully, to finally catch Robin Hood.

"Shh. Not so loud, sire. Remember, only you and I know. And your s-secret is my s-secret," he hissed in my ear, his tongue once again tickling my ear.

"Stop. Stop hissing in my ear," I slightly smiled, before I froze. "Secret? What Secret?" I asked.

"Why, the capture of Robin Hood, sire," Hiss explained.

"That insolent blackguard. Ooh! I'll show him who wears the crown!" I yelled, banging my fist into the armrest of my chair which flew up and then hit my head again blocking my eyesight a bit that was until I straightened it.

"I share your loathing, sire. That scurrilous scoundrel who fooled you with that silly disguise, who dared to rob you and make you look so utterly ridiculous." Over the course of this idiot's monologue I was losing it more and more, as he finished I lost it.

"ENOUGH!" I yelled, trying to punch him. Unfortunately, he moved out of the way. "Hiss, you deliberately dodged." I muttered.

"But-But-But, sire, please," Hiss tried weaselling his way out.

"Stop snivelling and hold still," I muttered, Hiss held still and held his head out. I delivered a punch on top of his head, squashing the hat on his head.

"Thank you, sire," Hiss muttered.

Y/N POV:

Lady Kluck and I had left the tower and I was slightly nervous, because one I had to fool the village into thinking I was Maid Marian. And knowing how big the Sheriff's fascination with me is, and would probably cheat to win. And thirdly I was hoping Robin Hood would be there and I slightly wanted him to win. At the same tie though I was very, very excited.

"Oh, Klucky, I'm so excited." I smiled while hugging her. "But how will I recognise him?" I asked.

"Oh he'll let you know somehow. That young rogue of yours is full of surprises, my dear," she reassured me, as we continued toward the royal box.

Robin POV:

I was gazing at the beautiful vixen, walking off toward the royal chairs. I was smiling widely to myself.

"There she is, Little John. Isn't she beautiful?" I asked him, walking out from our hiding spot.

"Cool it lover boy," he said, pulling me back, and tying a false stork bill to my face. "Your heart's runnin' away with your head," I smirked.
