Luca yawned for the 5th time that morning, he had only gotten about an hour of sleep that night due to some... issues. He made his way down the crowded hallway as usual getting stares from those around him but he merely shrugged it off.

Suddenly he felt someone sneak their arm around his neck making him turn to look at them. ❝What's up dude?❞ The person said.

Luca smiled then looked back in front of him as they continued walking, ❝Hey Sonny.❞ He responded.

❝Wow dude you look like shit.❞ Luca turned his head to the new voice that appeared on the other side of him.

He sighed and rolled his eyes, ❝Thanks for that Ren, it's not like I don't already feel like shit.❞ He shot back.

❝How much sleep did you get last night dude?❞ Sonny asked.

❝Maybe about an hour at most.❞ Luca said. Ren and Sonny looked at him in disbelief.

❝What the hell man, what are you doing to only get an hour of sleep?❞ Ren asked, clearly worried for his friend's health.

❝Just... studying.❞ He lied.

❝You lost track of time or something?❞ Ren asked and Luca only nodded in response.

❝What were you studying?❞ Sonny asked.

❝Chemistry.❞

❝Good luck with that dude, chemistry sucks.❞ Ren snickered.

❝No shit. I'm already failing and if I don't pass the next test coming up I won't be able to graduate.❞ Luca said.

❝What the fuck?! Why didn't you start with that?❞ Ren basically screeched, causing people to stare over at them.

❝Not so loud Ren.❞ Sonny said.

❝Sorry, anyways don't you have a tutor to help you? I mean if the coach finds out your failing this class you won't be able to play in our homecoming game.❞ Ren said clearly more worried than Luca was himself.

Luca sighed and responded. ❝I do have a tutor and I'm supposed to be meeting him on Thursday during lunch.❞

❝Who's your tutor?❞ Sonny asked.

Luca rolled his eyes, ❝Shu.❞ He grumbled.

Ren looked at him confused, ❝Shu? Wait as in that cocky honors student Shu Yamino?❞ he asked and Luca nodded in confirmation.

❝I wouldn't call him cocky, he's just a smart guy you know.❞ Sonny said trying to convince his two friends otherwise.

Luca scoffed, ❝He's an arrogant prick.❞ He seethed.

❝Have you ever gave him a chance?❞ Sonny asked.

❝Don't need to. I can already see how much of an ass he is.❞ Luca replied.

Sonny sighed in defeat, knowing nothing he says can change Luca's mind about Shu. Sonny met him and he wasn't anything like Luca described him out to be, he was just a nice guy who did whatever he could to help out those around him. So why does Luca despise him so much? What happened between the two to cause this type of rivalry to go on?

❝Sorry say that again? I think I might've misheard you.❞ A boy said.

Shu sighed and shook his head at his friend, ❝I have to tutor Luca Kaneshiro because my teacher asked me too and plus I get a whole week free pass of not doing any homework.❞ He repeated.

❝Wait you have to tutor Luca Kaneshiro?!❞ Another boy shouted.

Shu sighed for what felt like the millionth time that day and nodded his head to confirm what he just repeated for the second time. He was currently sitting in a class that he shared with two of his friends.

❝What type of fucking scheme is your chemistry teacher trying to do?❞ Shu could only shrug at his friend's question.

❝Wow I can't believe you're going to be tutoring that jerk, Uki can't you say something to convince him otherwise.❞

The boy known as Uki looked over at his friend, ❝What the hell do you expect me to do Shoto?❞ he deadpanned.

❝I-I don't know! I just thought you would be able to convince him otherwise. That dude is a huge asshole.❞ Shoto replied.

Uki sighed then looked back over at Shu who was busy doing his work unlike those two. ❝He's right Shu, are you really going to tutor that asshole just for a whole week of not doing your homework?❞ He said.

❝Yup, having a week's break for not having to turn in any assignments especially for chemistry is a relief.❞ Shu answered but didn't take his eyes off his paper.

❝But you two are basically rivals bro. Everyone knows that.❞ Shoto commented.

Shu finally stopped doing his work and looked up at his two friends, ❝I know but I'm only doing this so I don't have to do any homework, plus he's on the verge of not being able to graduate.❞ He stated, then went back to doing his work.

❝That fucker hasn't ever done anything for you except for calling you names.❞ Uki stated.

❝Words are just words, at the end of the day if he doesn't show up when it's time for me to tutor him then he's the one who won't graduate not me. I'm only doing it because the teacher asked me to.❞

❝I say you ditch the dude.❞ Shoto said.

❝I agree.❞ Uki said.

Shu could only shake his head at his friends, ❝I'm not doing that. Also we only have five minutes left of class and you two haven't even started on that.❞ He said and motioned towards their untouched classwork.

❝Shit.❞ They both cursed.

❝You'll let us copy right Shu?❞ Shoto said trying to convince Shu with his puppy dog eyes that somehow worked every time he used them.

❝Fine, just change it up a bit so it doesn't seem like y'all copied me.❞ He said and they both nodded then proceeded to copy his work.

Shu rested his head onto his fist that was propped up on the table and looked over at the clock as he began to think.

❛Should I really even do this? He's never did anything to help me out, all he did was argue with me 24/7 and proceeded to hate me for no reason,❜ He thought then sighed. ❛The faster I get this done I don't have to worry about him anymore. I hope.❜
