Luca leaned against his locker, one hand in his jacket pocket and the other holding onto his phone as he scrolled through some random app.

❝Hey Luca!❞ The blonde boy raised his head after hearing someone call out his name. He smiled as he recognized the two people in front of him.

❝Hey Ike and Vox!❞ He said happily.

❝So how did your study session with Shu go yesterday?❞ Ike asked.

❝You studied with Shu Yamino?❞ Vox asked.

Ike looked over at Vox confused, ❝You didn't know? I thought maybe you'd know by now.❞ He said.

❝I heard that Luca was getting tutored by someone yesterday from Shoto but he never told me who.❞ Vox explained.

❝Should have figured.❞ Ike muttered to himself. ❝Anyways, Luca are you studying with Shu every day?❞

Luca sighed and nodded his head, ❝Unfortunately.❞ He mumbled.

❝Hey guys!❞ The three boys turned their attention to the person who just spoke.

❝Hey Sonny and Alban!❞ Ike greeted them.

❝Hey!❞ They both greeted him back.

❝So Luca senpai, I heard you're getting tutored by Shu senpai. Is it true?❞Alban asked.

Luca looked at him with a questionable gaze, ❝Who the hell did you hear that fr—❞ Luca cut himself off then turned and glared at Sonny.

Sonny noticed his glare and nervously rubbed his nape, ❝It just slipped out, I'm sorry.❞ He apologized.

Ike sighed and shook his head at Luca, ❝Luca stop glaring at the poor boy he apologized already. And everyone was going to find out one way or another.❞ He said.

Luca muttered something to himself that no one could hear but the others didn't bother questioning him about what was said, figuring it was for the best.

❝Luca I can't help but ask, why don't you like Shu? He's a nice guy.❞ Vox suddenly brought up.

❝He's full of himself just because he's an honors student. It's annoying.❞ Luca replied.

Ike raised his eyebrow at Luca then said. ❝But Luca I'm also an honors student, yet you don't treat me the way you treat Shu.❞

❝Because you're scary Ike, why would I.❞

❝So what you're saying is that if I wasn't scary you would have treated me the same way you treat Shu.❞ Ike said.

❝No that's not what I'm saying! Your my friend so why would I treat you like shit.❞ Luca said.

❝Well then how about you try to be his friend then. He's a nice guy Luca.❞

Luca rolled his eyes, ❝No I'm never being friends with him.❞ He said.

❝But Shu senpai is such a nice person. He even helped me with my math homework one day when I was struggling.❞ Alban chimed in.

❝And he helped me with my science project.❞ Sonny pipped in.

❝Well good for you guys. I'm still not being his friend.❞ Luca said.

❝But—❞ Alban was interrupted by the bell ringing throughout the school indicating that the first period of the day was about to start.

❝Come on Alban before we're late.❞ Sonny said and Alban nodded.

❝Bye senpai's.❞ Alban said before him and Sonny began making their way to their class.

❝I'll see you guys later.❞ Vox said then left the two alone as he began heading to his class.

Ike turned to look at Luca, ❝Look I know you don't like him but I'm pretty sure he's going to be tutoring you for awhile so just try to be friends with him or at least be nice. Ok?❞ He said.

❝Fine.❞

Ike smiled at his response, ❝Thank you, now let's actually hurry to class before we're late.❞ He said and Luca nodded in response, then they walked off.

Shu made it to the library like he did yesterday and went inside, greeting the librarian as usual before making his way towards the back and sat down at the table that was placed near the corner. He pulled out the book he was reading yesterday and read it as he waited for Luca to arrive.

25 minutes had passed since Shu started reading and Luca hadn't showed up like he was supposed to. Shu groaned in annoyance as he closed the book more harshly than he intended to do.

Just as he stood up and grabbed his bag slinging it over his shoulder Luca had suddenly popped up in front of him. He was slouched over with his hands on his knees as he breathed heavily. It was as if he'd been running before he had gotten there.

❝W-wait! I can e-explain.❞ Luca said breathlessly.

Shu crossed his arms across his chest as he stared at the slouched over boy in front of him, ❝I'm listening.❞ He said.

Luca took one last deep breath before standing up straight and looked at Shu, ❝I forgot I had a math test today during lunch and I couldn't miss it, so that's why I didn't come here to study.❞ He explained.

Shu stared at him for a few seconds before responding, ❝Mm, alright just don't be late next time.❞ He said and was about to walk away before Luca stopped him.

❝Next time? Why can't we just continue it now?❞ Luca asked.

❝What's the point? We only have like 10 minutes left. By the time we try to get started the bell is going to ring.❞ Shu stated.

Luca pursed his lips into a thin line, ❝Look.. I'm..❞ He started making Shu look at him confused.

❝Your what?❞

Luca balled his fist and took a deep breath before finishing, ❝I-I'm... s-sorry ok. I should have told you earlier but I didn't.❞ He apologized.

❝Did you just apologize to me?❞ Shu couldn't help but to ask this.

A light pink color dusted Luca's face as he lowered his gaze onto the floor in front of him and slowly nodded in response.

Shu was still taken aback from the sudden apology but still spoke nonetheless. ❝Well uh.. it's ok just don't forget next time.❞

❝Before you leave I need to tell you that tomorrow I actually have another test to take during lunch so I won't be able to come. Maybe we could go to a cafe down the street after I finish practice.❞ Luca said.

❝Sure that's sounds like a good idea.❞ Shu said.

Luca smiled, ❝Great then after school you could come to my practice in order to wait,❞ He said and Shu nodded. ❝Alright great, see you then.❞

❝Yea see you.❞ Shu responded with then watched as Luca turned around and began making his way towards the front of the library to leave.

Shu couldn't help but to stand there surprised at Luca's sudden mood change towards him.

❝What the heck just happened..❞ He muttered to himself. He shook the thoughts away and began making his way towards the front in order to leave as he heard the bell ringing.
