I woke up the next morning, the smile fading knowing Matt had to leave today. I cuddled up closer to him hoping he wouldn't wake up so I could be with him a little longer. but my luck was ruined when he started to shift in my arms, his green eyes opening.

"Morning kitten," he said kissing my nose.

"I don't want you to leave"

"I know im sorry but I haft to"

We got up and out of bed and I took a shower and Matt after me. I put on some sweats and slippers then waited for Matt so we could tell Fox. now the hard part.

"Hey fox, buddy, time to wake up," Matt said.

"Ok," he said rubbing his Grey/blue eyes.

"Fox, dad is going to be gone for the next couple of months," I said.

"What about my birthday?"

"Don't worry I'll be back in time," Matt assured.

Matt and Fox said their goodbyes and then we went out to the car, heading to the airport Kian coming with us.

Me and Matt sat in the back seat just hugging each other till the ride was over.

*at airport*

"I love you kitten," Matt said kissing me on the forehead, nose, chin, cheek, then finally on the lips. he kissed me for as long as he could until he had to leave,e giving me a hug. he turned to Kian whispering something in his ear then left.

It wasn't until I got in the car I started to cry.

Kian waited until I stopped so he could say,

"Matt left you something at the house."

I didn't question him I just sat back and fell asleep.

*at home*

There was a brown box on the doorstep and Kian picked it up as we walked inside

He walked up to Riley's and Jc's room and put the box down beside Jc.

"What's inside the box?" Riley questioned.

"I don't know Matt left it for me."

I slowly opened the box my heart taken over by the cuteness of a white and grey kitten with one blue eye and one brown eye.
