Spencer could tell I was nervous , taking my hand in hers, as I drove down the road to foxes school.

When we got to school I guess fox was already done with lunch because the lady at the front class directed us to a classroom. fox was sitting at a desk talking to a boy as they, I assume, did their work.

I mentally prepared myself as I entered the classroom noticing I still had my uniform on, knowing it would attract attention.

Fox was to engaged in his conversation about music to notice me walk up behind him. his friend stopped talking to point at me. the teacher gave me a assuring smile and I stepped closer to Fox.

Fox turned around looking at me for a second before raising his hand.

"Can I give daddy a hug," fox asked the teacher.

"Sure honey, go right ahead," she said in awe.

Fox came running to me with a big smile on his face as he tackled me in a hug.

"Hey I just wanted to stop by and see you because I just got back and I won't see you till tomorrow cuz I have that marathon with momma, okay?" I said to him.

"Okay"

I kissed him on the forehead before he jumped down from my arms and ran over to where he was sitting, starting a new conversation with the boy.

Spencer and I headed back home. jc and Kian were on tour and Riley went with them, Ashley and Sam went home and fox was at his uncles, It was only me and spencer tonight, and I was excited.
