Dove was having a show in miami tonight, my hometown and I was super excited, she had been on tour for a couple weeks and I was with her as my show was on a break for the season. I was excited for dove to meet my family.

I was currently at my parents house with my family getting ready for the show.  We were going to get there a little early so we could hang out with dove, watch the show and then we were going to all go out for dinner before Dove and I had to get back on the road tomorrow morning for her show in Orlando.

I was wearing a black tight slip dress that showed off my curves perfectly. Dove had shown me her show outfit earlier on FaceTime it was a black pants and a shimmery top, with a black trench coat, so I decided to match her and go for all black as well with the shimmer being my silver heels.

After about an hour everyone was ready and we decided to head over to the venue, which was only like 15 minutes from our house. It's actually funny because just a couple months ago my family was at the same venue watching my sister, Lauren perform.

We made it to the venue and the driver pulled up right in front of the door. We thanked him and started getting out of the car. I had gotten dove flowers earlier today and had those on one hand.

As we made our way up to the door, I could see a line of fans already waiting. Many were distracted but I made eye contact with this one girl and she waved and whispered, I'm assuming telling the others around her who was there because everyone looked up and started saying hi to my family and I. Some of them saw Lauren and just about passed out.

I decided to go over and say hi as some were asking for pictures. I took some pictures with some fans and a couple asked if I could give dove some gifts they had gotten her and of course I said yes. I found the relationship she has with her fans so cute.

I said goodbye to the fans and we made our way inside. The security guard just about stopped me before Dove's manager came out and let him know we were the family of the performer.

We made our way inside following Dove's manager to her dressing room. When we got to the door he said she was finishing up her sound check so we could make ourselves comfortable and she would be back soon. We walked inside and everyone sat around on the couches that aligned the living room area.

My mom turned to me "Mija, why do you look so nervous". I smiled lightly "I'm just nervous for you guys to meet her". My dad laughed "Sweetie, it's not like we don't know who she is, she's one of Lauren's friends isn't she?". I nodded "ya but you only know her as Laurens's friend, now she's my girlfriend so it's different". Lauren placed a hand on my shoulder "Y/N/N it's going to be fine". I rested my head on her shoulder taking a deep breath.

A couple of minutes went buy when a faint noise could be heard outside "Ya I'm just gonna change and chill for a little and then I'll be out just tell me when." Then the doorknob turned and in walked my beautiful girlfriend.

She wasn't looking up at first but when she did her eyes went wide. I stood up and we ran to each other engulfing each other in a hug. I wrapped my legs around her waist as her hands went to my ass, really dove in front of my family.

I pulled away and smashed my lips into hers. I didn't want to get too carried away since my family was right there so I pulled away and hopped down. "I missed you". She smiled "I missed you too".

I grabbed her hand and turned around to face my parents. "Mami, Papi this is my girlfriend, Dove. Baby these are my parents, Clara and Mike". Dove smiled shyly "Nice to meet you, Mr. and Mrs. Jauregui". My mom got up and came to hug dove "Nice to meet you, sweetheart, you can call me Clara". My Dad got up as well shaking Dove's hand "nice to meet you and yeah you can call me Mike". Dove relaxed a little, I think she was just nervous to meet my parents.
