Dove was going to be doing press for her new album all week. Since I was off today she had asked if I wanted to come with her to the interviews she had today and then go on a date. I happily said yes, she's been so busy anytime we got to spend together was nice.

Today she was going on the Zach Sang Show and doing song association with Elle. The first stop was Zach Sang, since it would take a good amount of her time as his interviews were usually a good hour long.

Dove's stylist had picked out some cute options for outfits, and dove had decided on a cute corset, jeans, and a black coat. I had chosen a slip dress made out of the same material as doves corset so we could complement each other and match.

After Dove and I got ready and went through glam, we were picked up by the driver and headed to Zach's studio. Dove and I sat next to each other, her assistant next to me, and her manager and photographer in the back.

I pulled out my phone, intertwining my hand with Dove's before resting my head on her shoulder. She was scrolling through and answering work emails so I decided to watch tik tok to pass the time.

After about 20 minutes we made it to the studio. I guess the paparazzi had gotten word because we could see them before we even made it in the office. Dove grabbed my hand leading me out of the car and we headed inside. The paparazzi yelling different things at us, it was hard to make out because they were all talking at once.

We got inside and signed in, before Dan one of Zach's co-hosts, greeted us and brought us back to the recording room.

We were led to one side of the room where some bean bags and couches aligned the wall. Dove placed her bag next to me, putting her hand under my chin and leaning in to place a soft kiss on my lips "I love you princess". I smiled as our lips disconnected "I love you too baby, good luck". She smiled and made her way to the couch where they recorded the interview.

(A/N I'm unsure how to write the interview section so I'm just going to write it as I would messages only because I don't feel like describing each action they do after every phrase lmao)

Zach: hello beautiful human, today we have someone very special in the studio, Dove Cameron everyone!

Dove: heyyyy

Zach: it is so good to see you, last time we were together you were here promoting music but also descendants, are you still acting or is music your main focal point now?

Dove: Yes omg it's been so long and yeah I feel as though acting is still something I love but I have a lot tied to it that I want my music now to be almost like a rebirthing

Zach: ahhh interesting, speaking of an almost rebirth, I've heard that you have taken off your old music on streaming platforms and are starting fresh, why is that?

Dove: yeah I know my fans are upset, I felt as though those songs didn't represent who I wanted to be as an artist and how I wanted my true sound to be portrayed.

Zach: oh ok, on the topic of sound, how do your recent singles Boyfriend and Breakfast contribute to that new sound, and what is it you're going for when you say new sound?

Dove: I sort of want to create this world where women are powerful and are leaders and men are the sidekicks, different from our societal norms. They are laying the groundwork for my album which is that sort of sound as well. Very empowering, female-led and more upbeat compared to my old stuff.

Zach: Album, hmmmm do we have any details on that?

Dove: *laughs* nooo not much that so can share.

They continue talking about Dove music for a little bit and the mini tour she has coming up. They then get to the topic of her personal life.

Zach: You know what I just realized, I hope you don't mind me pointing this out but you and Y/N are matching.

Dove: *turns and smiles at me* Yes we are my stylist actually has my top and her dress made especially for us to wear. I think it's hot as fuck

I laughed she's so cute.

Zach: Y/N would you mind showing the camera, the matching look is everything.

I nodded standing up and walking over to behind the couch.

Dove: you can come sit next to me baby, you don't have to stand behind me.

Zach: Omg yes come join the conversation!

I walked around sitting next to Dove, her immediately placing her hand on my inner leg.

Zach: hey y/n, how have you been, congrats on the renewal of your show how does it feel to be back for a sixth season?

Y/N: I've been doing good and thank you, it honestly feels great and Im so happy to be working with the cast and crew for another year, they are like family and they make my job even more fun.

Zach: Honestly seeing how close you guys all make me so happy, it's hard to find true friends in this industry, so it's nice that you get to work with some true friends on a daily basis.

Zach continued asking us various questions about what we had going on and dove more about what was to come, her album maybe even a tour.

After about an hour we finished up the interview and said goodbye to Zach and his crew and headed to Dove's next interview which was song association with Elle.

The offices were pretty close so we made it there in no time and headed inside. Dove and I loved playing this game on our own and watching other celebs play it and we loved playing along, so she felt as though she was ready with all of her practice.

She was doing so well until she got stumped by the word "confident". You would think that with the number of times, I had played my 2010s pop playlist and Confident by Demi Lovato or BO$$ by Fifth Harmony came on she would've found a song. But it's okay she only got one wrong and still finished 3rd on the leaderboard.

We left the Elle offices and headed back to the apartment. When we got there I placed our bags on the floor as Dove plopped on the couch groaning. I looked over at her to see her face down half off of the couch, she's so dramatic sometimes. "Are you okay?". She sat back up looking up at me "I just get so tired doing interviews and talking about the same stuff over and over and I have to do it this whole week, I love my music and it makes me happy talking about it but with some interviewers, it almost feels like they don't care and are just asking basic questions and when I give them a thoughtful answer and they move on so fast".

I walked over sitting next to her on the couch wrapping my arms around her and pulling her in for a hug. "I know baby, I know in the moment it is stressful and aggravating but think about the fans who are soaking up every word you're saying, think about how you inspire them and how much they connect with your music. Isn't it all worth it when you're helping them?". We pulled away, now our eyes meeting "you're right y/n/n, thank you I do enjoy how I can connect with them through my music". I smiled placing a soft kiss on her lips.

"If you're too tired, we can stay in and do a movie date night here and order food, whatever makes you comfortable". Dove sat back "are you sure you're ok with that I know you were excited to go out". I sat next to her placing my head on her shoulder "of course I am baby I enjoy anytime I get to spend with you I no matter where we are".

I got up off of the couch going to grab my phone to order food and dove began flipping through the tv choosing a movie. "What do you want to eat?". She thought for a moment "are you good with mexican food?" I nodded excitedly, she knew that was my favorite.

I called and ordered our usual and it was here in about 20 minutes since it was right down the street. We ended up picking the first hunger games movie and cuddled up on the couch with our fur children eating our food.
