A Fresh Start - Ch 2

There is a faint scent of burning wood and cinnamon that is probably coming from the fireplace that is next to the bookshelves. Although the room appears to be old, it has clearly been properly maintained. Her Majesty takes a book from the bookshelves and sits on the bed after that.

"Sit next to me, and I'll walk you through it. By this point, I'm sure you're quite puzzled," Her Majesty continued. As she spoke, I sat next to her. I notice that I am sitting very close to Her Majesty, and I can smell the scent of flowers emanating from her. Her floral, light scent complemented her charming personality- Wait, I should concentrate! First and foremost, I must prioritize becoming a human!

"Don't worry, the procedure is simple. All you have to do is sleep on this bed and listen to the lullaby I'll sing to you," Her Majesty explained.

Oh? Is that all I have to do? I don't have to do anything but sleep? I had no idea it would be this simple. I was expecting extremely dangerous procedures. Is this correct?

However, I have faith in Her Majesty. I lay in bed, trying to sleep. I could hear a soft, lovely voice singing a lullaby as I closed my eyes. How peaceful, I'm getting sleepy by the minute. This lullaby was undoubtedly sung by Her Majesty. Why do I feel like this lullaby is an attack? It's very... hypnotic. This sweet voice seems to be forcing me to sleep. Whatever the case may be, I'm too tired to think. Allow me a moment to sleep...

I jumped out of the bed quickly... Well.. It no longer resembles a bed. Why am I sleeping in the middle of a forest? There are birds and massive trees now, which is a huge change from before! Wasn't I with Her Majesty in the old room? I'm completely confused right now because this place is completely unfamiliar to me! But first, I must take a deep breath, inhale, and exhale. I need to think clearly.

Her Majesty hummed a lullaby to me while I dozed off in an old room beneath the castle. When I awoke, I was in the middle of the woods. Is this procedure now complete? Am I now a person? I saw a lake right next to me. I swiftly stand up and gaze at the water's reflection. The way I look has changed! I was petite, with short white hair, dark blue eyes. I now have long, red hair that is wavy, a tall, ladylike frame that is lightly tanned, and bright, emerald eyes.

I'm amazed at my appearance for 10 minutes. How can someone be this gorgeous, I didn't know I have a thing for girls. Oh? What's this? I saw a writing beside the lake. It said

"Kala Arsya Mahameru"

It sounds like a name, I think this is my name given from Her Majesty. Kala... it matches this body a lot.

"Hello dear"
