HALF A DAY PASSED on their scouting mission, silent, as their minds stayed at the prison. Cal focused on one moment, where Bianca told him to go on this trip without her. She had trouble communicating what was on her mind. Especially when it came to what she was feeling. Typically, Cal could read her and what she was trying to do, but with everything crashing down, he could only listen. Now, he worried that it was the wrong choice. Cal didn't know what she was up to but was sure it wasn't because they needed her.
