Chapter 13

Tower

Third PoV

Today Bart decided to wear a baseball shirt that was yellow and white, and not a long sleeve shirt, like he wore long sleeves every day...until today.

To be honest he forgot about his scars and number. You could see the full number on his left arm, '596420'.

After changing Bart left his room to go to the kitchen. It was only 5:30 A.M. He was surprised to see Ed in the kitchen eating cereal, but there was another bowl.

"Babe? Is that bowl for me?" Bart asks

"Yep I figured you would be up at this time." Ed replied, pushing the bowl toward Bart as he sat down.

They just sat there in silence, eating their cereal. But...Ed moved his hand to Bart's thigh. Which made Bart smile. For one Bart ate all of his cereal and put his head on Ed's shoulder.

Violet woke up really early for her liking but couldn't fall back asleep. So she decided to head down to the kitchen. Once she got there she saw Bart's head on Ed's shoulder.

"Morning" she said in a whisper going to the fridge. Which made Bart's head fly straight up. Which made her close the fridge. "Bart, why did you move your head? You seemed very comfortable."

"Wait, you don't care that I am dating Ed?" Bart asked

"Yep I don't care. You guys are super cute!" Violet said, grabbing herself a pop tart.

"Thanks," Ed whispered, grabbing a hold of Bart's left arm.

Violet looked at their hands and saw some numbers. "What is that on your arm? Those are scars. Where did you get them? And why is the number '596420' on your arm?"

"Oh...um well it's a tattoo. And for the scars they are just from all the fights and things" Bart lied.

"But don't speedsters have super healing? And you are a speedster. Does it have to do with the number?"

"Stop! I don't have accelerated healing! And yes it is because of this stupid ass number!" Bart yelled, getting up from the island and running to his room.

"What did I do wrong?" Violet asked Ed

"Nope you were just curious."

Noon

Wally finally came to the tower to hang with the outsiders. When he got there Bart and Ed were nowhere to be found.

"Guys where's Bart?" Wally asked

"We haven't seen him at all today." Traci spoke up.

"Well I saw him at like 5:50 with Ed eating cereal together." Violet stated

"Anything seems off about Bart?" Wally asked in hope of a clue.

"Yes! He was wearing a Baseball tee. Which showed all of his scars and a numb-" Violet was interrupted by Wally.

"He has scars? He should have accelerated healing!" Wally screamed.

"That's what I said but he told me he didn't have accelerated healing."

As if on cue Ed comes running in with Bart who was shot in the knee.
