I was walking to school next to a park. I looked around at all the kids playing around on the playground and running with their kites in the air. They are having picnics with their families, laughing, I miss that.

"KOKICHI!!" I heard someone behind me yelling out my name. Once I turned around I felt them hug me. "Hey Kokichi," it was Himiko. "Oh, hey there Himiko, didn't see you there," I said. "Neyh, that's because I'm sneaky," she said. "I was wondering if you wanted to walk to school together?" She asked. She wants to walk to school with me? "I-I mean if you really want to," I said blushing a bit. Usually no one ever wants to come anywhere near me. "GREAT!" She takes my hand and starts walking ahead of me.

I have never seen her so excited. I mean I haven't known her for that long, but when I see her she always seems so gloomy and annoyed. "Come on, pick up the paste, we're gonna be late." Himiko said go a little faster. "Okay, okay, I'm coming." Next thing you know we were holding hands and running like little kids. We were getting some stares but we didnt care, we were having too much fun. I don't even know why it was fun, it just was!

Even when we got to the school we didn't stop, it was just constant running and laughing. Suddenly we hit someone and fell to the ground. We looked and saw Tenko. "Himiko? HIMIKO!? WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH A DEGENERATE MALE!?" Tenko yelled. Then she saw us holding hands. "EK, WHY ARE YOU HOLDING HANDS WITH A DEGENERATE MALE!?" She snached Himiko away and gave me a stare. "Tenko, he wasn't doing anything, we were just having fun," Himiko said, trying to calm Tenko down. "Having fun with males leads to HPV!" Tenko yelled. "Now come on, we have some work to do," Tenko said, taking Himiko away as Himiko waved me goodbye with a smile. I waved back and went to class.

Yknow, for some reason, I always feel better when Himiko is around.

***Later***
***Himiko's POV***

I was in the middle of class when Tenko, my best friend, texted me. I quietly took out my phone and checked what she sent me. I'm not allowed to have my phone out during class or it will get taken away for the hour.

Tenko: Why were you with Cockitchy yesterday? 😡

Tenko: IS HE BLACK MAILING YOU!? Its okay can tell me 😦

Himiko: Neyh, he's not blackmailing me

Tenko: Is this harassment

Himiko: No.

Tenko: Then what is he doing to you then?

Himiko: Being my friend

Tenko: Are you friends with Cockitchy? How? Why?

Himiko: It just happened

Himiko: Neyh, you know he's not so bad if you just give him a chance

Tenko: NO WAY!! Males like him only want one thing

Himiko: I doubt that

Himiko: All he's doing is being friendly

Tenko: PFFT, Cockichi being FRIENDLY!? You gone nuts

Tenko: Do I need to get a Doctor?

Himiko: I meant it😡

Himiko: Also stop calling him Cockitchy, thats rude, to me and to him

Tenko: Okay, okay fine I'll stop

Tenko: But your falling into his trap

Tenko: 1. hell befriend you
2. You will give all your love and affection to him
3. You start liking him
4. He will notice the opportunity and take it,
Now you're dating him
5. That is when he will go for the body start controlling you

Himiko: That is not gonna happen

Tenko: You don't know that

Himiko: I do know that

Himiko: I mean for one, I will never like Kokichi that way

Himiko: And two, Kokichi may have some sociological problems he needs to work out, but he isn't the type to do something like that

Tenko: Yes he is

Himiko: Okay let's say he is, witch he's not, that doesn't change the fact that I'll never like him more than a friend 🙄

Tenko: Okay fine, if you say you got this then you got this

Tenko: But if I see any sexual interference, then its over

Tenko: Not trying to be rude Himiko, I just don't want
anything bad happen to you

Himiko: Neyh, thank you, and I'll be fine

I sighed in relief that that was over with. Just when me and Tenkos conversation was over I heard a voice above me.

"Ms. Yumeno"

Reality hit me. oh yeah, I'm in class, oopsie. "What are you doing on your phone?" I could hear a couple of my classmates snickering. I was embarrassed. "Neyh, I-I was texting my mom," I lied. "Whatever your mom needs to tell you needs to wait till after class, until then can you please give me your phone? You can have it after class," my teacher said, holding out his hand waiting for me to give him my phone. I gently put my phone in his hand and he walked off returning to his lesson. That was so nerve-wracking.

***After Class***

I was walking out of my class and headed to my locker when all the sudden I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see Miu and Kaede. "Yo, so are Panta lying bitch dating or something?" Miu said. Neyh? What do they mean by dating? This isn't about what happened this morning right?

"What Miu was trying to say is, is there something going on between you and Kokichi?" Kaede asked. "Why would you ask something like that?" I asked them. "You and him were all lovey dovey yesterday. Running and holding hands," Miu said. "Running through the halls is lovey dovey?" I said. "W-well n-not really that, but holding hands," Miu stutered. "You guys really did look a lot like a couple. Why were you guys holding hands and running?" Kaede asked.

"Me and Kokichi ended up walking to school together, and because I didn't want to be late I took his hand and started running. And we just ended up messing around, that's it" I said trying to explain myself. "Well that is a reasonable explanation, well I guess we have to go tell everyone else what happened," Kaede said trying to walk away with Miu.

Wait, wait, wait, what do they mean by everyone else? I grabbed Kaedes arm and asked her what she meant by everyone. "Well the whole school saw you guys and came up with the same thing as us," she said. "They are also already stringing up some rumors," Miu said. Neyh, rumors!? That fast? I try to have a little fun and now I have to deal with rumors. I wonder if Kokichi knows yet?

***Meanwhile with Kokichi***
***Kokichi's POV***

Damn, I'm so tired. I had to deal with Hiroto yelling at me all night so I didn't get much sleep. I should probably come up with a lie if someone asks me why I'm so tired. I'll just tell them I was doing homework. That will do.

I was walking to my next class when I heard two boys talking about me and Himiko. I was gonna ignore it, I didn't have enough energy for this, but then they said that we were dating. I'm sorry, WHAT!? I turned around and said something to those jackasses. "Hey, what do you mean Himiko and I are dating? We're not." "Oh Ouma! I didn't see ya there, ya know, cause you're short," the first boy said. "Get on topic tall ass, where did you guys hear me and Himiko are dating?" I aggressively asked them.

"Everybody is talking about you two, we all saw you guys running in the halls and holding hands, we all just assumed that you were dating," the second guy said. "That doesn't mean that we are dating, that just means that we are good friends. we haven't even known each other for a full week!" I yelled. "But people are saying that you two went on multiple dates, they even saw you guys eating ice cream at an ice cream place," the second guy said. "Dates? Ice cream? I NEVER EVEN HAD ICE CREAM BEFORE!"I yelled.

"Y-you never had ice cream before? I-I think I'm gonna cry," the first guy said with a teary face. I'm so done with this. "Those are just lies, tell everyone who thinks that we are dating what I told you," after saying all that I walked away. Hopefully that will stop those stupid rumors, or atleast calm them down.
