By the time Seri and Soobin had reached the party, the games had already started. There was a big crowd standing in front of a low platform and on the platform, a handsome man with probably the sharpest jawline Seri had ever seen, stood with a mike in his hand.
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!" he said
"I'm Jake and I'll be your host for tonight" he simply grinned while the audience cheered.
"So. Let's get this party started!" Everyone cheered again.
Amidst the chaos, Soobin came closer to Seri to whisper in her ear "He's in the music department. He's kinda famous among the ladies for being a fuckboy"
She lets out a soft chuckle, observing how all the girls were swooning over his good looks, including the person you ran away from.
"Luna" she said
Luna must have heard her and turned to face her friend. She grinned and motioned for Seri to come over, something she hadn't expected.
Luna was dressed in one of her glittery, short, black dresses that revealed her cleavage. She was also dressed to the nines in her sexiest black high-heeled boots.
Seri was now regretting her wardrobe choice, seeing how her friend stood out from the rest with her magnificent curves made Seri envious, even though she knew it was bad.
Seri approached the girl, who immediately grabbed her arm and turned her to face Jake.
"Isn't he sooo damn hot?" she exclaimed, giggling like a fool.
Seri mocked her friend, saying, "You should ask him out." "I definitely should," Luna replied and walked over to where her new crush was standing , attending to his fanbase of screaming girls and boys begging to score a date with him.
Seri laughed at how Luna was savagely pushing past the crowd like a hungry man getting his first meal after a week.
Someone snorted behind her, "Pssch, I am more handsome than that son of a bitch." Seri whirled around to see the same blue-haired boy who had been on her thoughts since the morning.
"Yeonjun," she said
"Hey babygirl," he said as he inched closer to her. Seri knew she ought to go back, but the way he was staring at her had her stick to where she was.
"Don't tell me you're also falling for his pretty boy act?" he took more steps towards her ,this time she moved, and continued moving until her back touched the wall. Yeonjun trapped her by placing his hands beside her head.
"Answer me, baby. Are you?" Seri swallowed.
A voice from behind Yeonjun interrupted Seri's response. "Leave her alone," Seri and Yeonjun both recognized the voice. His expression abruptly stiffened. He lowered his hands, and Seri used the opportunity to rush towards Soobin.
"What do you want, asshole?" Yeonjun clenched his teeth, still facing the brick wall.
"I want you to leave her alone," Soobin replied. Seri could see he was holding back from punching the other boy's handsome face.
Yeonjun turned back with an empty chuckle. "Why is she your girlfriend?"
A booming voice interrupted Seri's denial. It was Jake, announcing the beginning of the party games. Soobin gave Yeonjun a cold gaze before grabbing Seri's wrist and walking towards the crowd, leaving a fuming Yeonjun behind.
