Dear Rocco,
A year ago today my life changed forever. I heard the three words I never thought I'd ever hear again. The three words I never thought I would believe. I love you.
I had finally managed to get myself out of the mess I was feeling - being gone a month. Things had been falling apart for so long, hearing those words felt like everything was falling back together again.
We had only been talking a couple of months by then, but hearing those words made me wonder how long he had felt like that. Hearing those words made me feel at home again.
A year ago today I had no idea what was in store for me. A year later I couldn't be happier. I finally found my other half.
