Hey y'all long time no see!
No POVs today but remember one thing... italics are Chaeryeongie's thoughts and bold is Ryujinnie's.

"Wake up! Shin Ryujin, I swear to Jihyo if you don't wake up right this instant!"

Ryujin mumbled something then turned around away from the source of the voice, only to be jolted awake by a mad pillow smack to her back. Her eyes flew open in surprise and worry.

"Oh you decide to wake up now? Thanks! NOW GET READY, YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE TO WORK."

Lia was practically yelling at her now - this Shin always pushed her way past her limits - she wanted to be early however she had to make sure all the members were with her. Who knows what sort of wreck they would make without her around? They weren't actually going to be late, they still had 90 minutes until shift starts, which meant they could take their time if it hadn't been got their leader.

"Lia unnie... it's still early can't I just go back to-"

"ANI!"

"Wae?"

Lia mentally slapped herself for overestimating her fellow member's intelligence in daily things and dragged her up out of bed and down the stairs. As soon as they reached the bottom of the staircase Ryujin suddenly turned from a whiny baby to a rebellious adolescent. She started swatting her hand until there were clear marks on it. The oldest looked at her in pure shock.

"Shin Ryujin." Lia's previous mother-bird behaviour suddenly dispersed into thin air, violence was not going to be tolerated. Least of all under her watch.

Ryujin's eyes turned sad and she lifted her head to look at Lia with heavy, puppy eyes. They were filled with water, glossy and crystalline. She felt her tears begin to fall down her cheek and she broke free from her unnie's grip then dashed out the door.

Lia immediately ran after her, chasing as fast as she could imagine. She was about to catch up with her member when her ringtone for Chaeryeong's call sounded. The leader rarely called anyone nowadays unless it was an emergency. Lia quickly picked up her phone and answered the incoming call.

A couple mutters were heard from the other side of the line.

"What! No, no, no... that can't be the case, she's always so-" She managed to say before Chaeryeong hang up. She looked up again at the now empty street and sighed in defeat, Ryujin was at least ten streets away now, gone.

                                   • • • • •

Voices echoed all around Ryujin as she sat on the roof of her house, feeling the breeze stroke her face with tenderness.

Why do you do this to me? All I have done is loved you, everything I have done was for you. I know you're mad that we're gone and I'm sorry but that look you gave me... I can't bear to see it. It was a cold one, no? I saw all of your hatred and sadness in those eyes. Chaeryeongie, you forget I can still read you like a comic book.

When I saw you downstairs today, you were so happy with Yuna. You guys were laughing at some silly joke she probably made about curries. I almost smiled but when you saw me your happiness faded. I couldn't bear to see that look on your face so I left.

Lia's ringtone for you... it rang. You never call her unless something extremely dangerous happened. I hope you're okay, my- Ryeong.

It hurts that you're not mine anymore.

Ryujin got up from where she was sitting and trudged over to the edge of the roof. She looked down at the empty abyss below her and then at the beauty of the night sky above her. It looked the same to her, the sky and the ground, everything looked identical to her eye.
