Enjoy the next chapter, guys! Feel free to comment, it motivates me and makes me very happy! :D
Louis is biting his nails as he rests on the big sunbeds around the pool. Who is Camille? Is she pretty? Will Harry want to couple up with her? Is she going to be Harry's soulmate and does Louis have to go home? Is she going to treat Harry right? Are they having fun? A billion questions are running thorough Louis's head that he doesn't even notice the presence of one of his best friends here in the house.
"Hey Lou, are you alright?"
Danielle is sitting at the edge of his sunbed, the sparkles of her bikini shining straight into Louis' eyes. He puts on his sunglasses, not sure to protect himself from the sun or the expression on his face.
"Of course I'm alright, why wouldn't I be?"
"Because the boys have asked you several times whether you want to have a water fight with them and you are just here, staring at completely nothing."
"I'm just tired."
"It has nothing to do with Harry being on a date?"
Louis lifts his eyebrow, arms crossed over his chest as he answers, being shocked.
"What? Why would I care about that? It's not like he's my boyfriend!" Louis makes a weird face, being dismissive. He really doesn't want to talk about Harry being on a date, really not.
Not because he cares, just- there are more interesting things, right?
"Have I mentioned him being your boyfriend, Lou? You don't have to react so indifferently. It's normal if him being on a date affects you. You're coupled up and the two of you are really close."
"We know each other only for a few days, Dani." Louis rolls his eyes but it's hidden by the pair of sunglasses. Louis thinks they are Harry's actually.
"1 day here has the same value as 1 week in the outside."
"Then we know each other 5 weeks, still not that long." Louis shrugs, trying to look like he doesn't care.
He really, really doesn't care.
"If you are going to be in this mood every single time Harry is not here, please lord make sure the curly dude stays in here forever."
"You're overreacting." Louis huffs.
"Are you sure that I am really the one here overreacting, Lou?" Danielle looks at her friend with an amused smile. Guys like Louis that catch feelings, most interesting case ever.
"Yes, yes I am and if you want to excuse me now, you are blocking my sun and I'm thirsty." Louis stands up and he walks towards the small outside kitchen. He grabs a beer and puts himself on a stool, taking big sips of the liquid. Caring about Harry being on a date? Huh, why would he? Who does Danielle think she is, accusing Louis from something like that?
"Louis, hey!" Aiden walks up to him and takes place on the stool. Louis sighs in relief. Aiden, who clearly likes Louis, pays attention to him and that's what Louis needs now, attention and a lot of it.
"Hey there, join me?" Louis asks, already standing up to grab a beer for Aiden.
"Yeah, I'd love to. So how are you doing? You didn't want to join us for a game?" Aiden asks. "Thanks for the drink by the way." He says as he accepts the opened bottle from Louis.
"Too hot, dude plus I'm tired." Louis shrugs it off.
"I heard you and Danielle, so are you really upset because of Harry being on a date?"
It takes everything in Louis to not spit out his drink. He really, really doesn't need that gossip to go around in the villa and even less for Harry to hear it.
"What? You are joking, right? I don't like Harry like that, we're just really good friends." Louis says right before he presses the bottle against his lips again.
"But you didn't want to couple up with me?" Aiden questions. "And you are acting kind of weird."
"I'm not." Louis shakes his head. "And I'm coupled up with Harry because we want to stick together as long as we haven't found love yet. Once Harry or I have found someone we want to stay together with, we're done. He's my best mate in here but that's it. There are no romantic feelings, none at all. I don't even do romantic feelings. I'm here for fun, true love doesn't exist."
"So you're here for fun?" Aiden bites his lip and he gives Louis a seductive look and really, it doesn't seem attractive to Louis at all.
But if he ignores this then for sure Aiden is going to spread around that Louis likes Harry and he doesn't- doesn't like harry and doesn't want it to be spread around. He doesn't want to risk his friendship with Harry because of a stupid rumour like this one.
"I'm always in for some fun." Louis takes a step closer to Aiden and before he knows he can taste cheap beer on his lips, brought by a pair of tin lips that don't even feel pleasant. It almost makes Louis' stomach turn. He usually likes kissing, doesn't ever feel dirty, not even with strangers but it just feels so wrong right now.
Even more wrong when he hears a familiar voice echoing around the swimming pool.
And there's Harry, looking straight into Louis' eyes as the older boy looks up.
But Louis' eyes are quickly losing the connection
Focussing on Harry's hand
In Camille's.
