It may have been love at first sight, maybe not. But both pillars had to admit that they like each other. They have both fallen into a hole with love, but also 'hatred'. The water pillar, Giyuu Tomioka, was a shy and elegant person. Oh the other hand, the in pillar, Sanemi Shinazugawa, was quite confident and destructive.
It all started with a mission they had.
"Caw! Caw! Hashira meeting! Caw! Caw!"
Giyuu quickly started to run to the master's mansion. He arrived as one of the earliest. A short girl walked over to him.
"Ara,ara~! I'm surprised you even showed up Tomioka-san! I heard that we are all going to be on missions with partners we don't get along with!"
That was Shinobu kocho. She was, let's just say, fake. Shinobu had a fake smile. It was said that ever since her sister died, she was always happy. Soon after, the other hashiras appeared and said their hello's. Giyuu however, did not receive a lot. Mitsuri, gyomei, and Shinobu were the only ones that said hi to Giyuu.
"Oyakata-sama is here."
Sanemi took a quick glance at the lonely water pillar, who was kneeling by himself. He had to hold in a laugh thinking about how much of a freak Giyuu was.
"Greeting, my children. Today, you may have heard, you will be paired up with people you don't get along with."
The love pillar, Mitsuri kanjiro, squealed and blushed. Mainly because she was excited, but also because she loves the master (not like that way bro 😒).
"So, Uzui and Shinobu, Giyuu and Sanemi, Mitsuri and Muichiro, Obanai and Rengoku. Gyomei will not be in the mission because he is in a mission himself."
The master began to tell the hashiras the location and Sanemi was pissed. He didn't want to work with a person that was 'better' than all of the hashiras. Before the mission began, the hashiras got 2 hours to prepare.
Giyuu brought some onigiri and a match in case if he gets stuck in a cave or sum. Sanemi was just unprepared. After the 2 hours, they headed off to their mission...
