Percy emerged from the woods seeming to be running from something. Running after the young boy was a large lion, the beast hides shined as it ran as if made out of metal. The Nemean lion one of the feared beasts in Greek Mythology. An angry expression could be seen on the lions which could be explained by the beasts-soaked fur.

The lion roared as he lunged at Percy and tackled him to the ground.

Percy instantly kicked the lion off with a force no 10-year-old would have. "Yeah, I don't think so!" Percy kicked off the ground and landing on his feet the struck his hand forward causing a spear of water to shoot at the Lion, just before hitting it changed shape into chains and held it down.

The lion roared as it thrashed trying to break free, it snarled at Percy.

"Ha, gotcha!" Percy grinned.

The Lion kept roaring as it tried to break free, but the water chains were surprisingly strong. Percy focusing on the Lion sensing the blood flowing inside the beast and clenching his hand he forced the blood to spike outward and burt the lion into golden dust leaving the pelt.

"Wow I am actually surprised it worked." Percy grinned as he took out a notebook and put a checkmark on blood manipulation.

He decided to enjoy the walk home today and took his time as he walked through the woods. He wrapped his hands around a thick branch of the tree, hoisting himself up. Sitting on it, he felt a sense of satisfaction course through him. he had climbed many trees in this forest before, but it was his first time attempting to climb such a sturdy and tall tree. The view before him was breath-taking. The lush greenery of the canopy, the little critters emerging from their resting places and the squirrels scurrying for food under bristles of wispy moss. Percy felt so relaxed with the summer wind blowing through his hair. He lifted his face, letting the light and shadow dance across his skin. Birds flew in and out of the branched. Percy inhaled the forests earthy smell and jumping off the branch, delighted in the sound of his feet crunching through the leaves.

Percy shouldered his backpack as he took off running through the forest darting up rocks and leaping from tree to tree laughing and enjoying the fall season. Soon silence fell as he ran as he enjoyed the feeling of the wind against his face. As he ran, he thought over everything that had happened the past six years.

Percy has been training every day since he was a young child, every night when Percy would go to sleep, he would find himself inside the same forest where Adias would train him. His trainer would push him past his limits until he passed out.

Every night he would do a warmup by doing 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups, 100 air squats, and a 10-km run. He would then study history for a few hours before training with his powers and lastly a wooden sword. Percy had questioned the use of training in his dream, and Adias explained it to him.

"What you learn here is affecting your body more than you can think." He was proven correct when Percy started noticing changes in his body, it was leaner and more muscular. He could think faster, memorize what he read faster. In fact, Percy realized his Dyslexia didn't even affect him anymore. Percy stopped going to school all together as he couldn't learn anything, so he tested out of the school early and just stayed home studying and researching anything about Poseidon and his powers.

Over the years Percy would learn to be able to use his powers, he didn't just stop at the basics either. He spent hours perfecting his speed and control.

It was mid-October and Percy was sitting on one of the benches at the park focusing his mind when a loud squawk jolted him out of his thinking. Looking to where the sound came from Percy spotted a black bird laying on the grass, its wing was bend in an unnatural way and the bird just lay there in pain. Standing up, Percy walked over to it and as he got closer, he realized the bird was an eagle, the eagles' feathers were all black the only other color were its eyes that were bright blue

"Hold still little guy." Percy muttered as slowly picked up the bird.

"Let me go your stupid human!" The bird squawked Percy stopped what he was doing.

"You can talk?" Percy asked in wonder causing the bird to freeze as Percy placed a hand over the bird's wing.

"You can understand me!" The eagle asked in excitement

"Yeah, I guess I can, I just didn't expect to find a talking bird. Now hold still so I can heal you." Percy focused and drew the water around him into the wing focusing on it healing. Soon the wing under his hand bend back into place healing and regrowing the feathers back.

"Mighty winds! My wings is healed!" The eagle squawked. Percy opened his eyes and smiled.

"Hey, it's no problem at all, glad to help." Percy replied setting the bird back down. "Anyways I got to go it's getting late."

"Okay, well I'm coming with you." The eagle spoke flying up to Percy's shoulder.

"No, you're not I don't want a pet." Percy growled. "Especially an eagle. People would go insane having the national bird of America kept as a pet.

"Eagle?" The bird cocked his head to the side. "I'm no eagle! well I am half eagle, but my father was the last Pheonix!"

"So, you're a half-blood like me" Percy chuckled. "Whatever, I'm still not keeping you."

"Start walking Boss!" The eagle squawked pointing his wing to the city.

"My name is Percy not Boss you damn bird."

"Let's go, Boss Percy!" The eagle spoke as Percy starts walking.

"I'm not keeping you."

"Yes, you are I now serve you!"

"I don't even know your name?" Percy muttered.

"Don't have one." The half-phoenix shrugged or made a move that looked like a shrug.

"How about Corvus?" Percy asked as he exited the park.

"Hey, you named me, and now we are bonded for life, I am now your familiar!" Corvus quipped as if laughing

"Hey, you tricked me, you damn bird!" Percy growled. "And can't you fly?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about."
