RESTAURANT
Corinna and Connor are sitting down at their table enjoying their meal, the waiter pours their wine bottle into their glasses.
"Thank you." Connor Says
"Your welcome." She says then walks off.
Connor takes a sip of the wine, Corinna looks at him.
"Now that's some great wine." Connor Says
"Oh yeah let's see." She picks up her glass and takes a sip "Wow I guess your right, that does taste really good." Corinna Says
"What can I say I know my wine." Connor Says
"You sure do." Corinna Says
"So what made you finally accept my date?" Connor Asks
"Hmm?" Corinna Says
"Come on I gave you my number what four days ago, and finally decided to take me up on my offer..what changed your mind?" Connor Says
"Um..my sisters and my friends told me it was time to I guess get back out there in the dating world and try." Corinna Says
"Okay so we're in the same boat, my friends and family told me the same thing." Connor Says
"Hmm." Corinna Says
"May I ask how could a beautiful woman like yourself is single, some guy drop the ball." Connor Says As Corinna chuckles
"Well I'm single by choice, and as for the guy..he didn't drop the ball. Our time was just cut short." Corinna Says
"May I ask what happened?" Connor Asks
"There was this guy I met a long time ago, we met during my freshman year of college and I couldn't stand him at first but I guess that's how some love stories start right." Corinna Says
"Yeah." Connor Says
"Well I married that guy, he was basically my everything." Corinna Says
"What happened to him?" Connor Asks
"There was this accident that he was in, my best friend and I were in the car and something hit the car causing it to crash over the bridge. Long story short she and I made it but he didn't.." Corinna Says
"I'm sorry." Connor Says
"It's okay I mean I know it's only been two years ago but it feels like a life time ago." Corinna Says
"Yeah I know what you mean." Connor Says
"You do?" Corinna Says
"Yeah..I was married as well, she was my college sweetheart. And I loved her dearly, had three children..best time." Connor Says
"What happened to her?" Corinna Asks
"Um when she was pregnant with our 3rd child, my daughter. She was diagnosed with cancer. And the only thing she wanted to do was care for the baby, so she hold off on her treatment and prepared for the baby." Connor Says
