After a day of exciting tests and trials, learning and experimenting, came the night. Everyone had tuned in for the night as the moon replaces the sun and the stars began to set themselves in the sky. Inside the tent of the royal family of Arendelle, Anna laid next to Kristoff on their large portable mattress. As she lays flat on her back and stares at the ceiling of the tent, her mind wanders. Anna couldn't stop thinking about what she and Elsa had discussed about their efforts to let Heidi experience the magic firsthand with Elsa's guidance. She wondered if this was the best course to take or was her decision to letting Heidi be exposed to such things setting her up for her possible tragic future.

Kristoff, who had his back facing her, rolled over onto his side to face her as he notices her tense expression. "What's bothering you?" he asked as he puts an arm under his head. Anna exhales sharply and turns her head towards him "Nothing." There was sadness in her tone but Anna tried to conceal it with a smile. Kristoff doesn't say a word as his face already shows enough that he knows what his wife is thinking.

Kristoff rolls his wife over to her side so that she can face him and brings her close to his body for a tight snuggle. He strokes Anna's back in long strokes and says "We're doing everything we can to help her. You shouldn't worry so much all the time," Kristoff tilts Anna's head up so that she can look into his eyes "or else you'll start to get 'white hairs.'" Kristoff teasingly grinned but Anna didn't know whether to take that as an insult or a joke. Either way, she wasn't in the mood for jokes. Kristoff's face sank at the sight of Anna not taking his comment well and cleared his throat to show he didn't mean to upset her.

Anna rolls out of Kristoff's arms and faces the opposite way. Anna's face morphs into discouragement and annoyance as she utters "It's a mother's duty to worry about her children's safety and well-being! Regardless of what others say!" Anna raises her voice in irritation, but quiet enough not to wake the children, Olaf, or Sven. Kristoff pulls Anna back over to face him again, and he said now being serious himself "We, as her parents, have to trust she will make the right choices." Anna looks down avoiding looking into Kristoff's eyes. Anna pulls away from her husband's embrace once again and sits up to see at the foot of their made-up bed, her two beautiful children asleep and snug under their blankets.

Kristoff sits up as well to see the same sight. He then looks over to his wife to see tears forming in her eyes. Kristoff can't bear to see her like this anymore "Honey," he said cupping Anna's face in his hands "we all are worried. It is a parent's job to worry about their children. But we can't live our lives constantly worrying." Anna looks up at him with wide eyes and a confused look. "Eventually, our kids will grow up and start living their own lives, find their soul mate, and have their own family. And when that happens, our jobs as parents and worrying about their wellbeing will be over." Kristoff's words were wise and true. Anna can't keep worrying about her two children forever, because she and Kristoff won't be around forever. A parent's job is to raise and teach their children everything they will need to know so that they will be prepared for the world beyond. So that one day, they will be ready to rule over Arendelle when their parents are gone.

Anna lays her head on Kristoff's chest, understanding what he is telling her. She exhales through her nose and closes her eyes as Kristoff holds her for a good long moment. Anna knows that she can't hold on to her children forever. She was always concerned for her sister's well-being and mental health, and she forgot about the other people in her life that were just as important to her too. Anna had to learn to stop worrying about Elsa's life and focus on her own now that she is a Queen, a wife, and a mother. Perhaps she also needs to stop worrying about her children so much.

"You okay to sleep?" Kristoff asks gently rubbing his figures in Anna's long red hair. Anna looks up and gives a weak smile as she nods 'yes'. The two lay back down as Kristoff pulls the blanket back over both of them and places a tender kiss on Anna's lips. "Don't think too much about it, okay?" Anna nods 'yes' once more. Appreciating the talk, Anna wraps her arms around Kristoff as they both drift to sleep.
