Supergirl x Avengers Crossover

The Story

"Just to be clear, you're telling you're from a different universe?" Thor asked, eyes wide.

"Yes, Thor, that's what she said. Pay attention." Loki muttered, shooting his brother a glare.

Supergirl nodded and continued. "It was just a normal day at the DEO, which is basically an organization that protects the world from bad aliens." Supergirl added when everyone gave her a weird look. "Anyways, suddenly, everything went to hell. There was a cell breach and all these horrible aliens were running free. Everyone who worked there was assembled and we all fought to regain peace. Now, I'm fast. Like, really fast. So I flew at an alien, while going fast. This alien was blind and was just swinging his fists around when one collided with me. With the speed I was already going and the added speed from his hit, I somehow ended up... here."

"Well, Supegirl. We'll find a way to get you back, however," Tony stood and addressed the table. "In the meantime, she has agreed to join and fight alongside us." Supergirl nodded.

"Please, you can call me Kara. I am excited to work and fight alongside all of you."

There was a course of "welcome to the team Kara"and she smiled at the warmth.

"Come with me, Kara. I'm sure we can find some more comfortable clothes for you." Natahsa said warmly, holding out her hand. Supergirl smiled and took Nat's outstretched hand, Nat pulling her upright.

"Okay, thank you" Supergirl smiled as she followed Nat out the door.

"Supergirl!" Kara turned to see Steve walking out the door.

"Kara," she smiled at him as he stopped in front of her. "What's up?"

"Right, Kara." Steve held out his hand and she shook it. "I'm Steve. We never officially met. And I just wanted to say 'thank you', for saving me."

"Of course. That's my job." Kara smiled.

"Kara?" Kara turned to see Nat waiting for her. "You coming?"

"Yes, of course." Kara smiled at Steve once again. "I'm going to need my hand back."

"Oh, yes. Right, of course. Sorry!"

Supergirl smiled at him before turning and following Nat out the door.

"So you're an alien?" Nat asked, handing a shirt to Kara.

"Yes. Although I have lived on Earth for most of my life."

"Do... all aliens have superpowers?"

"Only a few. My cousin, Superman, has the same powers as me, and a man named J'onn J'onz can mindwipe, faze though things and fly, as well as shapeshift." Kara pulled the shirt over her head and pulled a skirt on.

"That's so cool!"

"Yeah, it can be pretty special. I just hope my city is doing okay without me."

Nat walked around the curtain where Kara stood, about to walk out.

"That's incredible. How did you learn about your powers?"

Kara shrugged. "I've always known. I just kept them a secret until my sister's plane was hijacked and I saved it. Then once I reveled myself, I just decided to embrace it."

"Wow. I must admit, I'm jealous. I pretty good with guns but flying would be awesome."

Kara smiled. "So does anyone here have powers?"

"None quite like yours. Steve's got enhanced agility, speed and strength, Thor is the God of Thunder..."

"God?" Kara raised her eyebrows. "Damn, impressive."
