Chapter Four

      Finney was yet again woken up for seemingly no reason, this had been happening ever since he left... left tthya place. Though it was kind of unsettling, he was thankful, thankful he had actually woke up on time.

He had just enough time to take a quick shower and get everything else ready before he was... almost, ready to leave.

"Hey Gwen?" Finney asked and she turned to him and hummed back in response as if to say "Yeah?". "Have you seen my sweater anywhere?" He asked and she shrugged "Nope" she simply replied.

With it now being December, a light snow had begun to fall, and the frosty air outside made it especially cold. Finney, he liked the cold, but still, it never hurt to wear an extra layer every now and then.

Finney sighed and just grabbed a coat from the hanger and sat by the front door, waiting for Gwen to finish getting ready.

"Okay go go go! We're gonna be late!" She said and pushed his out the door before quickly shutting it closed. "I was ready, you weren't! Finney argued and she shrugged. "Doesn't matter, just go!" He said and grabbed hold of Finneys hand, dragging him a long the sidewalk to the route to school.

Gwen and Finney split up to go to their respective classes and as Finney walked through the halls, he spotted a familiar face outside of the doorway to his first period math class, Robin.

He looks slightly concerned, or uneasy at least, though as he spotted Finney walking twords him, his expression softened. "Hey Finn!" He said as a smile began to form on his face "Hey Robin." He replied and gave a quick wave.

Robin stood up straight and began walking into the classroom, Finney by his side just as the bell began to ring. They rushed to their seats and the teacher began to glare at them, but he could do nothing as they were technically on time.

Class began as usual, Finney either being super attentive or becoming distracted by the simplest things, and Robin not trying in the slightest to try to do absolutely anything. This is how it always went, and when the bell rang, Robin let out a loud sigh and quickly gathered his things, waited for Finney to finish up, and them they bother walked out of the classroom.

Classes went on like this, Finney and Robin splitting up every now and then to go to different classes, until the end of 5th period, Robin met up with Finney in the hallway as usual, though he seemed so little gloomier than usual, as he always did after 5th period.

"You have science with 𝘿𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙖 next right?" He said and Finney nodded. Robin always did this, he always brought up Donna. Finney never understood why, maybe... maybe Robin liked her, or maybe, Robin was jealous.

"Uh yeah, I do." Finney said and Robin nodded. "Yeah alright, see you later." He said, his mood obviously darkening as he buried his hands in his pockets and split off from Finney down a sdlseperate hallway

Finney walked into science and sat down in his seat, patting his hands on the desk waiting for the bell to ring as kids flooded into the classroom moments before class began.

Donna herself walked in, and sat down in the chair next to Finney and smiled at him. "Hey 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙣!" She said and Finneys stomach turned. Finn... He didn't want her calling him that. Why didn't he want her to call him that? It was a nickname, it was his nickname, so why was it so uncomfortable when's he said it? Well, it wasn't just any nickname, it was the one 𝙍𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙣 have him, it was the one only Robin ever called him, not even his own sister would call him that, just Robin, that's how it's always been, and how it always would be.

Well, that was if Finney had the confidence to correct her. He didn't want to seem mean... But he didn't want her to keep doing that, though it was childish, childish to get mad over a nickname, so he just gave a weak smile and wave in response.
