Behind lost eyes

Day 17

An: sorry for updating so late in the night. I had a long day and just wanted to relax a little. Here's the update sorry for the lateness.

Dear journal,
Time for the masquerade. I'm so excited my hair is styled to look like swirls. I have a golden smokey eye and pink lips with blush. I can tell I look gorgeous. We take a few pictures with out our mask then put them on. My mom did my make-up so no one would recognize me cause of my eyes. We leave in a limo my dad insisted on us riding in. We arrive just as Blake and Kelsey get out there car. He wears a black and white suit with red and she has a silky red dress that drops to the floor. All my friends step out first since everyone is already looking our way. I step my silver glitter wedges out the car first then step out into the cool summer air. Everyone gasps as I stand in the middle of my four friends. I walk leading them straight to the entrance. I pass Blake but dont turn to look in his direction. I knew it was him cause he was wearing his special kind of cologene that he wears on special events. Only he has it. We head towards a table and sit and relax for a minute before we go out to dance. I get lost in the music until someone's behind me."What do you think your doing looking this good in front if me and ignoring me" he growls into my ear. Blake. I pray he doesn't know who I am. We break away as they start to announce homecoming king and queen. I sit quietly listening. Then I feel the light on me and here them say for me to come up. I stand on the right side of the announcer as I hear someone walk to my left. He grabs my hand and cheers erupt. Im in shock as I feel the crown being placed on my head and smell the flowers then feel the banner sit into place across my chest. We move to the center and begin the slow dance and continue. I breath in... My king is. Blake. I feel like crying, I'm happy yet scared. Kelsey is going to try and murder me. She probably will. After the dance is over I break away from him ask my friends what time it is, 10:30. I ask them if its okay if we leave, homecoming ends at 12:00. Blake comes up behind me and whispers softly and sounding sad," why do you have to leave me when your all I want... Please stay with me". He was practically begging me. I hiccupped trying to to stop from crying to not mess up my make-up. I turn to him kiss his cheek softly and moved to his ear," I'm sorry". He grabs my hand and I turn towards him." If you really have to leave me can you at least tell me your name please? ". I smile sadly looking at his face I know cause I feel his eyes burning into my face." I am the girl everyone knows, yet no one cares. I'm the girl who has wanted one thing in the world that will never happen. I'm the girl who likes to stay unknown". With that said I leave behind my friends quickly. I'm sorry Blake..... I love you......
