One last dance (Shawn Mendes fanfic)

Chapter 30

"Olivia!"

I woke up to Kaylee frantically shaking me awake. "Whaaaat?" I ask sleepily. "It's 7:15." Kaylee answered. I groan, and roll out of bed. I pick up my phone and check it. Shawn texted me, 'Sure! Averie is just DIEING to see you! :)" I smile, and lock my phone.

Kaylee and I go into the bathroom and get started with my hair for tomorrow.

Kaylee hands me a mirror. "What do you think?" "I-I love it!! It's so beautiful! Thank you so much, Kaylee!" {picture above} I squeal. By the time we were done with figuring out my hair, it was 7:52 pm, time to go to Shawn's. I take my hair out of the fancy thing, and put it in a messy bun.

I knock on Shawn's door, and right away, Shawn opens it. "Oh! Your here. Hold on a second." Shawn tells me, and closes the door. I wait about a minute before Shawn opens the door again. And sitting there on the floor, was Averie, with a cute red bandana tied around her neck. I walk into Shawn's house. "Wow! She's gotten really big!" I comment. "Yeah, she has." Shawn says, coming up from behind me and gives me a hug. Averie whimpers and turns onto her back, probably wanting me to rub her belly. I sit on the wood floor and rub Averie, while Shawn sits next to me.

"What movie do you wanna watch?" Shawn asks me, showing me a rack full of movies. Instantly, I see one that I defenately  want to see. "Does The Fault In Our Stars work?" Shawn nods. "It's a good movie. Have you seen it yet?" Shawn asks me. I shake my head. "Well, knowing you, I think you'll love it." Shawn convinced me. "Okay." I smiled, and Shawn sat next to me on the couch.

"I fall in love like I fall asleep. Slowly, then all at once." I loved that line the first time that I heard it. The movie just ended, and I fell asleep on Shawn's shoulder. Shawn carried me to his room, laid me down, and went back into the living room.

"Good morning, baby." Shawn whispered softly. I groaned, and turned over, smiling. Shawn sighed, smiling. "How about this?" I turned over to see a beautiful bouquet of red, pink, and white roses. "Wow! those are beautiful!" I take the roses and smell them. "Oh, like you?" Shawn said smiling. I blush. "Are you hungry? Do you want to go out for breakfast?" I ask Shawn. Shawn frowns. "I'm sorry, Olivia. I can't. I have some things I need to get done before tonight." Shawn explained. "Oh it's cool." I said. I left Shawn's house, and went back to mine. I walked into my house, and my brother, Lucas, was sitting on the couch watching SpongeBob. "Hey, Luke." I greet him as I walk in the door. "Hey." Luke says, concentrated on the T.V. I walk upstairs to my room, then to the bathroom to take a shower. I have a lot of time before the anniversary date, so I decided to take my time.....
