Chapter 7

Shawn and I have been singing for 4 hours now, and my mom opens the door to my bedroom. "You two sound good!" My mom compliments us. Shawn and I laugh. "Thanks." Shawn thanks my mom. My mom grabs my dirty laundry, and starts to walk out of the door. But she stops out side of my bedroom door. "Oh! I almost forgot! Olivia, you and your church group are going to ValleyFair!" My mom told me. I smile. "Oh! that's right!" I realize. I think for a moment, then I have a great idea. "Shawn! Do you and the boys want to come to ValleyFair with me and my church group?" I ask Shawn. Shawn nods. "I do! but I'll have to ask the other boys." Shawn tells me. I nod. Shawn pulls out his phone, and starts texting the boys. "Cam says sure, Taylor says he can't, Nash says..." Shawn starts to laugh, as he shows me the text. "As long as Olivia is going? and the 'lovey' emojis 10 times..." I say the text out loud. I start to laugh with Shawn. Shawn starts to read the texts again. "Hayes said he could.... oh! Can one of my other friends come? His name is Matt." Shawn asked me. I nod "Sure." I answer him. Shawn turns off his phone, and puts it back in his pocket. "Mom! When is ValleyFair?!" I yell. "Tomorrow, and we have to be there by 9:00 am.!" She yelled back to me. "k!" I yell. Shawn looks at me. "Should we go back to my house...?" Shawn asked me, putting his hands on my waist as we stand up. "Yeah..." I say, Mine and Shawn's heads go together, and for the first time, we kiss. It was wonderful. For the first time ever, I felt loved. Shawn and I pull away. Shawn smiles, and it meant the world to me. "I love you Shawn..." I say to Shawn. "I love you too, Olivia." Shawn replies. Shawn and I walk down the stairs, put our shoes on, and walk back to Shawn's house, hand and hand...
