"Isildur!" Elendil cried as the ship burnt. Gladariel ran onto it and people held him back as he cried out for his son. "Isildur!"
People clapped as Galadriel appeared carrying Isildur in her arms. They released Elendil and he ran to his son as he was laid onto the decking.
"Isildur. Isildur," Elendil said and Galadriel started muttering healing spells over him. After a moment, and with Elendil gripping his son, he came to. "Isildur," Elendil said as he was crying.
"Father?"
"Isildur," He said as he hugged him.
"What happened?"
"You were trapped in a burning ship," Galadriel told him. "I have healed you."
"Healed?"
"You were badly injured. You will need rest. What were you doing on that ship?"
"I... I can't remember."
"Your memory will return. Make sure he's looked after."
"I will," Elendil said and Galadriel left.~
"How are you?" Elendil asked his son as he came to him in the houses of healing.
"Better."
"You scared me."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be," Elendil said as he sat on Isildur's bed. "I'm just glad that you're alright. You could have drowned."
"I almost did."
