The three woke up to the 6am chime announcing the pizzaplex opening for the day. "..ugh.. I guess we should hurry to the daycare a..Anubis." Charlotte said, rubbing away any remains of her sleep as she got up and stretched. "yeah you two hurry up! We have wolves to starve dang it!" Cassidy said, wide awake and sitting on a table.
"Fine fine.. let's go charlotte..." Anubis said yawning. With that they went to the daycare, Charlotte becoming the puppet and assisting the daycare attendant while anubis hid in the play structure with the job of teleporting the kids wolfen got to. Wolfen was late today.. seemingly like she came from somewhere else. But the two went to work anyways, starting at 8 am that day.
For some reason, wolfen acted the same, if not a bit annoyed at the twos interventions. She didn't seem to be starving out like they wanted. They kept protecting the children, thinking that she had killed a few from the hours they slept or perhaps went to a different area. The two worked together, Anubis teleported the kids away at the last moment and the puppet led them back to the daycare attendant. And after a few hours of this wolfen was...enraged. She looked like she lost her mind as her eyes seemingly turned white for a moment. She then entered the backstage area as the pizzaplex closed.
Charlotte transformed back and grabbed Anubis, who was nearly stuck in one of the play areas. They then returned to cassidy, who looked at them, showing a tablet with several digital pages of notes on William and wolfen.. or as the notes said.. Roxanne afton.
