Chapter 16, questions need answers

When the duo woke up, all Anubis could think about was those comments about how he may be related to Roxanne afton. It seemed almost impossible when he thought about it. He was born in Yorkshire, Britain to Isabella caverton and James caverton. The farthest thing from an afton ever possible!not to mention the aftons are in hurricane, Utah! So far away from where Anubis was born! And well when Lexi and him got rid of their parents as revenge for strangling the middle child, Noah, to death, there was no sign of them ever having family in America when they snooped around freely and looked in their parents hidden information. Also, there was no way they shared blood with their worst enemies. The comments haunted him, it made no sense. And if he was related to Williams kid, then why the hell did William kill him? It just seemed too outlandish. Perhaps William had truly lost every sense of reality.

Charlotte was the one to snap him back to reality, waiving her hand in front of his face and talking. "Oh um...what is it charlie..?" Anubis responded, trying to focus not on the comments but on the task at hand. "Just making sure you didn't like die or anything. Also I do kinda want to know more about sister location... the place is closed and wolfie has no idea about the servers! And I really thing that weird pile of wires is something to investigate.." she said, a flurry of interest covering her face as she rushed through the last bit. "Ok ok I get it charlie. We can go back to SL and snoop around! And besides I have questions that need to be was well.." Anubis responded, shaking his head as he again thought of what Roxanne had said.

And so, they teleported to SL, looking around to see the funtimes. They heard light music coming from one of the dark rooms, and quiet talking in another. Yelling could be heard in the farthest room from the elevator. It sounded like a young British girl too... no Anubis won't make any assumptions. Probably just the voice box. Charlie was randomly hitting buttons until a shock was heard in the room where the music was playing. The music stoped and well Anubis and Charlotte hid beneath a pile of wires for dear life.

Ennard came out again, looking worried as hell. "A shock in ballora gallery?? I though we turned those off?!" He said, coming out of the vents and heading into the now sparking room. A few moments later the music returned and ennard left. "I have no idea how those shockers are still active... probably chica..." he said, entering the other room, funtime auditorium.

"Remind me to never touch those ever again." Charlotte whispered. "Yeah please don't." Anubis responded in a worried whisper. They emerged from their hiding spot only for a pink and white chicken to show up in front of them, a sickly smile strewn across her robotic beak.
