Chapter 8, what now?

"What now...?" charlotte said, leaving her hiding space behind a small table. Anubis and Cassidy came out from their hiding places as well, looking around the now dark control room. "Well.... I guess the whole starve Wolfie thing isn't going to work... we will have to make her insane..." Cassidy said, now thoroughly looking through the tablet "it's the only thing that will get him out of there." she continued, now looking back at the others. "no... no, no, no. that would require talking to Evan... plus of course, her going insane, which is a death sentence!! we will just die again Cassidy!" charlotte said, fear crossing her eyes for a moment.

"Insanity...?" Anubis asked confused about what was going on. "Yes... it's when someone loses full control of themselves and their most primal emotions come out... in Roxxane's case, anger and hate for what has happened to her." Cassidy said, teleporting the tablet away and looking at the two head on. "If it's our only choice...." charlotte said, giving a silent yet clear agreement. "Looks like we are going to see my old best friend... Evan Afton... this will go great..." Cassidy said, sarcasm bleeding through her confident tone at the very end. "Well, we should leave SL then... and besides she can probably hear us..." Anubis whispered, gesturing to the vent leading into FunTime auditorium, where faint crying could be heard.

The trio reentered the elevator and traveled to the old fredbears diner. "let's hope he hasn't forgiven William..." charlotte said, as they walked into the old place. the main dining area was in shambles, nightmarish versions of the animatronics replacing the happy ones first built. a brown bear, a gold one, a shadow looking bear, a purple rabbit, a yellow chicken, and a red fox. Six nightmares stood upon the small stage, seemingly watching the trios every move. the floor was cracked, and the building looked like it could fall apart at any moment. everything was in disarray, clearly abandoned and broken in every way.

"Evan..? it's me... Cassidy." Cassidy said, walking up to pirates' cove. the purple curtains opened, and it revealed a soul, a child with strips on his shirt, bandages on his head and stone-grey shorts. "This is about William, isn't it?" Evan said, leaving pirates cove to stand in front of Cassidy. "Yes... we have made something to trap him. to make him pay for what he did to us Evan." Cassidy said. "I am aware... you forget what powers William made my soul gain. now what is it you want Cassidy?" "We want you to make Roxanne insane... it's the only way to get him out of that digital fortress." Cassidy responded, doing a good job at somehow not yelling at him. "Huh. I'll do it. I've never liked her... she prefers someone from another universe over her real brother anyways. and besides... it could show mother dearest and Elizabeth what they deserve..." Evan said. "Give me two days Cassidy. and be prepared for weasel." he continued.
