"It's called snow, Gabe." Jonas whispered. "Snowflakes they fall down from the sky, and they're very beautiful."
I place my book down and I smile. My favorite book of all time is "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. Something about the book is just amazing. A true work of art.
I'm currently in the library with Hu during our lunch period, I wasn't very hungry and didn't feel like going into the cafeteria. Hu offered to read with him in the library, and I gladly excepted.
I put my book back in my backpack and take out my sketch book along with a pencil.
I start drawing random things on my page, soon turning into a person. I smile at the sketch. Hm I imagine blonde hair, green bright beautiful eyes. Wait no brunette hair, a low bun.
Hu Li leans over and looks at my drawing. A smile takes over his face as he stares at it in awe.
"You really are talented buttercup." I bite my lip nervously and look up at him. "Really?" I ask.
He grins and nods. "I'm not kidding."
I hug him which he returns then I look back at the sketch I just did. "Thank you Hu."
"I'm your number one supporter Buttercup." I giggle. He really is. ———— I walk out of school and scan the parking lot for Mateos car, once I find it I skip over with a huge smile on my face.
"Hey Hermana! Qué tal la escuela?" Andres asks.
(Sister) (How was school?)
"Fue increíble! Me encanta mi clase de arte, ¡también hice un nuevo amigo!" I exclaimed. He smiles.
(It was amazing! I love my art class, I also made a new friend!)
"I'm happy for you princess." I was too. My first official friend I made since I've moved.
Diana would be so proud of me! I miss her so much.
We get in the car and start to drive home. ———— I throw my bag on my bed and run downstairs almost tripping on the last step but I catch myself. I speed walk all the way to the kitchen, all the way to Gabriel, and I hug him.
His hugs are amazing.
I sit down on a stool behind the island and begin to tell him about my day, and about Hu Li. He was beyond happy that I had made a new friend.
"I'm happy for you Hermana."

After talking some more I head back upstairs to take a nap. I was so tired, I could sleep for three whole days!
I take off my shoes and collapsed on my bed, soon drifting off to sleep with one person on my mind.
Diana. ———— I woke up to someone shaking me awake. I turn the other way away from the person.
I then fall into deep sleep-I was wrong, the person shook me softly once more, i roll over some more. Which ended in me falling on the ground.
"Ow." I just lay there not really wanting to move, I wasn't feeling to well honestly. Not physically but mentally, I felt kinda sad.
The person ran to my side and crouched down and picked me up placing me on the bed.
"Princess are you okay?!" The person asks, panic in their voice. I then realize it was Diego. "Yeah, I'm fine.." Was I really though?
"Come downstairs for breakfast, you must be hungry you skipped dinner." He says with a frown.
I'm not hungry.
"If it's okay can I stay home today? I don't feel good." I wasn't lying it was the truth.
Lying is bad, very bad.
His hand instantly goes up to my forehead, then he feels my cheek.
"You do seem a little hot, are you okay?" I nod, he covers me back up and turns my fan back on. "Get some rest." ———— I push the hot tea forward in front of me, and place my head down on the table.
My head hurts, and I'm tired.
"Princess you have to drink that to get better." Diego says. I nod my head no.
He finally gets me to drink it, I did and I felt some what better. But I still wanted to get some rest, so that's what I do.
Diego helps me upstairs and I lay down letting the darkness consume me. ————— IM SO SO SORRY THIS IS SHORT!
I promise you this is the only chapter that will be this short! I had this chapter all the way to 2000 words, but I didn't like what I wrote and narrowed it down to 765 Words..Anywhoo I love y'all!

But I'm telling you, it's worth the read! (Also the giver is on Netflix!!)
