Aurora

I frown at Hu as he laugh at me. He had beat me in a game of uno. He cheated I saw him not shuffling the cards.

He ruffles my hair before kissing my head and standing up. I look up at him and see him sticking his hand down at me. I bite the insides of my cheeks to stop the smile forming but couldn't help it and smiled. I place my hand in his and he helps me up. I giggle as he picks me up and spins me around.

"You're very beautiful buttercup." He says. I blush but couldn't deny that he in fact was beautiful also.

"You're beautiful also." He smiles and kisses my cheek before walking to the kitchen. I walk in and he picks me up sitting me down on the counter. I smile and say a thank you. He nods and walks over to the fridge.

"Is it safe to come in the kitchen? Y'all two aren't snogging are y'all?" I giggle.

"Shut up Xiao we're just friends." Hu says and I add in "I also have a boyfriend." Xiao looks at me with a smirk and wiggles her eyebrows at me.

"Does this boy have i don't know certain green eyes?" I blush and look down to hide my face. But fail to do so once Aaliyah laughs.

"God you're adorable." Aaliyah says.

"Hold up did you just say snogging?" Hu asks with a laugh. I giggle and look Xiao. She crosses her arms and looks at us.

"What? I like using Harry Potter references, so what?" I try to hold in my laugh but fail doing so and bust out laughing along with Hu.

I look at Aaliyah and see her so confused, I giggle and stand next to her.

"Snogging means kissing." She nods clearly still confused. I roll my eye's playfully.

"When you watch Harry Potter you'll understand."

After Andres introduced me to the wizard world I thought Hu would like it, he did and we both got his sister to like it.

Harry Potter is so freaking good.

I run over to Aaliyah and sit next to her as Hu sits next to me placing an arm around my shoulder. I hand Xiao and Aaliyah a cookie, and Hu hands me one.

"I freaking hate when Alex has soccer practice. He could be here with us!" Xiao exclaims. Alex joined the soccer team because he wanted to try something new for once. Breaking news! He hates it, yet he's still playing it.

I turn to Hu with a smile on my face.

"You know I drew you." I said.

Did that sound weird?

He looks down at me with a raised brow. "Really?" I nod with a smile and get up heading to his room to grab my notebook from my backpack. When I return I sit back in my spot and look through my notebook.

The one mama gave me. She knew my love for drawing and would always make sure when she went into town to buy me sketchbooks, pencils, pens, paints, markers you name it. She truly is the best. I miss and love her.

I smile at the thought of her.

She had such a bright smile, and beautiful curly brown hair, blue beautiful eyes that looks like the deep blue sea up close.

She always told me stories about the sea, told me one day we'd all as a family visit it. It's something I hope to do in the future with my family, I know mama and pa will be there with me too. Standing right beside me, they both mean the world to me and always will.

I look through the pages and finally find the page I was looking for. I hand the sketchbook over to Hu and watch as he examines the page. I was quite nervous about how he'd react. I always wanted to show him this but was afraid I'd scare him off.
