I stand in front of the door to the address my father told me to go to, I stare at the said door which is painted a dark red with a gold knocker placed on it. There is also a big welcome sign leaning on the side of the house.. This is apparently my aunt's home, which I've never met. I have heard about her though and seen pictures and she is awfully pretty, but of course I am still nervous.

I reach up to the small knocker letting my hand rest on it before taking a deep breath before knocking it against the door. For about two minutes no one answered, making me think she's not home. I knocked one more time and this time I heard rustling from behind the door then locks being undone, before the red door swung open revealing a short woman with a big smile, an inch shorter than me atleast, with short black hair and an apron that is dark red.

"Hi." I said, unsure of what else to say, having a tight grip on my backpack strap. "Hello." she replies with a grin on her face.
"Hi, I'm Madden, I'm your nephew..." I told her wary of what her reaction was going to be.
"I know who you are." she told me before giving me a hug. I never really got hugs unless it was from the people who took care of me when my dad was too busy so this was kind of a new feeling.
" How do you already know who I am?" I asked not sure of how she knew me, I was sure that she had no idea I even was born.
"How could I not know you?! You're my brother's first son, his first kid, obviously I would know you. Although I might not have ever met you, I still know who you are." I loosen my death grip on the straps and relax a bit. She ended the hug first, a part of me wanted her to hug me again and stay like that forever but that's just foolish.
"Now come in, come in, let me show you to your room so you can drop your things off then we can talk  on the couch." she told me, ushering  me inside. She lived in a beautiful big home. As soon as you walked in the door you entered into the foyer. On the left wall there was a long table and sat upon the table was a vase that contained a bouquet of an assortment of flowers. But above the table was a round mirror with gold trim.

I stared in awe at how amazing this house was. I've only been in my fathers place with the same old furniture and ugly paintings, so all of this is so new and amazing to me. I followed Aunt Jade through the hallways seeing all of the pictures on the walls, some of her and my dad, of herself and some of her parents which I've never met even though they are my grandparents.

She opened the door to reveal a nice sized room that had a bed in front of a window, a desk by the door and a small dresser. "I hope you like it, i wasn't sure what you like so i didn't decorate as much" she said nervously with a small smile.
"I love it, it's perfect." I said with a smile reassuring her that this bedroom was perfect.
"Well I will leave you to get settled and you can come down when you're ready and we can talk about some stuff." she said with a pat on the back as she exited the room.
As soon as I could hear her footsteps descend down the stairs I shut the bedroom door and flopped backwards onto the bed. I can't believe that I am here, here on Earth living with an aunt that I have never met in my life. I have no idea why she lives on Earth and not with me and my dad but who could blame her? I could barely even live with my dad at this point. Maybe I will ask her when I go downstairs to talk to her.

After I layed on the bed for a couple of minutes I decided to go downstairs. As I walked down the stairs I noticed my aunt Jade on the couch watching tv..

"Hey." I said plopping down onto the couch next to her "What did you want to talk about?" I questioned
"Well, I wanted to talk to you about school and rules and other things like that.' she replied, pausing the tv, turning to face me.
"You'll be going to the school here but tomorrow we need to go to get you enrolled and get all your classes."  she stated. That was the one thing I was not excited for school. I despised school but so does every teenager right. Hey look at that I am already getting the hang of being a normal teenager on Earth.
