You said if we were going down then it would be together
But now looking upon you, lifeless, laying still
I know that was but a simple lie, or a twisting of the truth
For you left me all alone my love, in this cold and ruthless world
But still i fight for what is right, although i see no point
For who am I doing this for, if you aren't here with me?
How should I gain approval from the moon or from the sea?
Though i recognise I've cheated death
And i regret that now, you see.
Though as this body withers away, I still raise my head up proud.
Soon I will join you too, my dear, we’ll dance above the clouds.

Arrivederci roma, a final goodbye to rome.
The faces of the ones I loved, the place that once was home.
I have sights set upon the sky now, and hope flies like a dove
For I was lucky to meet you still, and to earn your love
