After a good long week of practice, the show is finally up tonight.
Inviting my girlfriends, thankful they didn't turn me down this time. Besides who doesn't want a classic themed party, I'm beyond grateful.
Aside from our band, there are also other. Last minute, the organizer requested if we could do the last hour so that everyone is there already. We couldn't agree more, as we're treated specially and ugh- midnight jam is exceptionally exceptional. Today is 28th of October, the party was supposedly for Halloween.
At 6:00 PM I started to do my hair, ironing it and imitating a long bob and paired it with a plain thick white headband that'll match my outfit. Tucking in my white turtle neck shirt and bright brown trouser; finishing with a white boots and blazer same tone as the trous. My make up was light, more like natural.
I came to the hotel at 7:41 PM. Me and the band talked about meeting in the time of performance so I could spend some time with my friends vice versa.
While I examine the area, I spotted a table good for me and the girls and perfect view for the band so had it reserved.
Taking a deep breath in appreciating the ambiance of this place, feels like I've been here before in classic times. Perfect melodies taking place just as it should.
"I'd recognize you from the distance. Odd" said a voice coming from my back that made me turn. "Hi"
"You barely talk to me the other week we met in high street" I pleaded. "You grow you hair too fast?"
"We met? I did come to the coffee shop hoping you'd be there- " Ave getting cut.
"There you are mate- Oh!" Another familiar accent in his back. "Fit bird you got there, Hello!"
This man looked just the same as Averick. No way, were they twins? This might be the guy I saw in High Street, he's got that clean cut hair and now completely shaved beard. And Averick still has his long hair and now trimmed beard.
"Bervick my brother-" He introduced "And this is Ary" telling his brother. And we shake hands. "She's the one treat us the special coffee"
"No really? My wife's loved it, we all do. That yellow and pink pastry is a catch" him praising the treat.
"Did I hear the yellow and pink pastry" a woman butting in.
"This is my queen, Mikayla" Bervick giving him a peck in her temple.
"Ary" I introduced simply with a warm smile.
"Could it be? Last week I bump a lady accidentally in a department store and- were you that?" Mikayla's question got me reminiscing and..
"Woah- small world isn't it?" We end up hugging like we've know each other for a year.
"Care to tell me the exact name of that yellow and pink pastry, I fancy that and didn't know what its called" she complain.
"Yello and pink are just too long aren't they?
It's Maligaya, unique name alright. It's derived from a tagalog word Ligaya which means happy and by adding the Ma in the begging it become Maligay meaning extremely happy." I explained."Lovely! Rickman must have ate so much Maligaya in that coffee shop and coming home unusually happy." Bervick sound playful as he glance at Averick who glared at him.
"You wanker!" Mikayla twisting his husband's ear. "We'll get some air, darling. Enjoy yourselves" making their way to a balcony. I turn to this man beside me
"Twins?"
"We get that a lot but No. He was out February 1st, 12:06AM and I was January 31st 11:48PM" he claimed, that made me give him a puzzled look.
