"Oh i'm sorry, love. I have a full hand. I was about to get that cart and didn't notice you there" A white woman, apologize when she stumbled at me. I'm sure she was referring to the push cart right next to me so i pushed it near her side.
"Don't be, It's alright. Let me help you there" I bent down and start picking up her items on the floor. They're pillows and comforters, that explains.
"Thanks" she smile and just I just respond with a nod.
As i turned my back, i heard the girl talking to a guy."What happened?" Must be her partner "...good thing the nice girl helped me out-" Is all I heard they where heading the opposite direction.
After an hour of searching; i had bought a silver necklace, new tees, and a high wedge shoes. I texted my besties telling them I'm on my to our hangout place, at Coect.
It's a cozy coffee shop, this one is really quiet and people don't go there often considering this is located near an expensive villa and some other condo's; or probably because there's Starbucks across the road, huge competitor.
I reached my destination succeeding the dreadful traffic. Not new to me. Just the same old metropolis. In my surprise, the café is a bit crowded today. I let out a small sigh in my dismay, but not today, Satan. Eyeing that specific pastry in the glass case that gave me hope. I scanned the whole area; grateful for the vacant tables.
"Nice seeing you here again Ma'am, the usual?" Isleen asked. Me and my circle knew her as the manager here, who happens to become one of us. I grin at her.
"You know so much, are you a stalker?" I played, gaining some attention from the other costumers.
"I see you're accusing me, how dare you" She then removed her apron and get off the counter and faced me, both of us raising one eyebrow at each other like a bitch. Just a second we both lose it and say "I missed you" in unison, and let out a good laugh not too loud.
"I'm so proud of you, you finally made it so this one is on the house. I have witness all your stressed awful years, you deserve this treat." She said not breathing.
"You know sometimes I really don't wanna come over, you're literally spoiling me." And i poked her rib side.
"And you know I love you" she poked at mines, but a bit harsh.
"Ouch, of course I do and who wouldn't?" I replied confidently and winked at her.
"Who wouldn't?" She mimicked. "Said the pretty woman who can't even dare to date a guy."
"Hey, that's personal" she didn't mind saying anything more and just turn to get inside the counter, glanced at me once and pointing the kitchen door. And I got it.
I looked around again for a seat, and a costumer just left in our favorite spot. Goody. I went there and dropped my paper bags.
As I noticed, the tables is still unclean so picked the plastic cup pastry box and put it in the tray, sprayed the table with my alcohol and took out my own tissue to wipe it dry and handed the tray of trash to the cleaner who's just on his way to me."Sorry about that ma'am" he apologized.
"No worries. It's not you, really. Some human are just really dependent. Not that they knew there's someone assigned to clean up for them, but at least throw the stuff in that garbage bin. It's not there to be just a display, is it?" he looked stunned on what I've said.
"You're doing a great job, keep it up and be humble" I smiled at him and thanked me before he continued is route.
I walked near the cashier and hand my debit card to the attendee.
