chapter 3

CHAPTER 3:

ELLA'S P.O.V.:

I woke up in an unfamiliar room. Walls were plain white and there were some nice photos in black frames. I was laying in a warm bed, full of soft cusions. It was rather calming and nice, until distorted images filled my head.

I suddenly remember every single moment. Was it a dream? I touched the skin on my neck and there were no wells or scars so i was dreaming right?

Wrong.

''Ella...'' a soft voice said and i turned to see Katie sitting on a chair next to my bed.

''Katie what happened?'' i asked her. There were tears in her brown eyes.

''I'm so sorry, i was going to tell you but i didn't plan that Zayn would loose control...we didn't plan that''

''Stop! We need to get out of here!'' i whispered, hoping that nobody could hear me.

''I can't Ella...i really can't leave Niall.'' Katie said.

I couldn't believe what she was saying.

''They are freaks!'' i almost yelled.

''No...they are like us...they just''

''What? I don't even know what they are! But i know one thing for sure, and that is that they scared the life out of me Katie!'' i was yelling now. The thought of everything was hitting me.

Zayn's cold lips. Sharp pain. Fear. Extraordinary feeling that followed. Blackness.

''I know, i know...but they are nice. They won't hurt us.'' She tried to calm me down.

''I'm already hurt!'' i said and then jumped out of the bed and ran out. I didn't know where to go at first, but then i noticed stairs that were leading down and just went there. I ran as quickly as i could and i was soon running towards the door.

HARRY'S P.O.V.:

''No, lets just give her the time to explain.'' Liam said. We were all sitting in the living room and Katie was upstairs with Ella, trying to explain to her what we are.

It was pretty wild last night, but none of us planned that Zayn would freak out. I must say that i almost lost control myself, because Ella's blood smells...differently. It's the most amazing, sweet scent that i have ever smelled. Since i was a vampire of course.

''I really didn't mean to do that...i just lost it when i saw that blood.'' Zayn has been apologizing the whole day for his actions.

''Don't worry mate, we know you couldn't help it.'' Niall patted his shoulder.

''I'm already hurt!'' we heard from upstairs and i noticed that Niall immediately tensed up.

We heard a loud bang and then someone running. I  shot up and quickly went towards the door, since i already knew what was going on.

I caught Ella just as she reached the door.

''Sorry, but we can't let you go.'' I said with soft voice.

She froze and there was pure fear in her blue eyes (A/N: Photo of how i imagined Ella to look like is on the side, tell me what you think. :D). I could hear how her heart started beating really fast.

''I'll call the police!'' she said.

''Yeah? With what?'' i asked her and i couldn't help but smirk at her.

''Just let me leave!'' she yelled and then hit my arm.

I grabbed her shoulders tightly, but i was still being careful not to break her a  bone.

''You can't leave...not any time soon, but please listen to us.'' I said to her and tried to remain as calm as possible since her fast beating heart didn't make things on me any easier.

''You can't tell me what to do. And i'm leaving!'' she said and tried to wriggle herself out of my grasp.

I snapped and grabbed her and threw her on my shoulder.

''If  we can't do this the easy way, we'll just have to do it the hard way.'' I said to her. She was hitting my back with her small hands and i almost didn't feel it. I chuckled.

''What are you doing Harry?'' Louis asked me surprised when he saw me carrying Ella around. The lads all came on the hallway and they were looking at me with curiousity.

''She didn't do as i asked her.'' I explained. They all started laughing, except Zayn who was still feeling bad.

I carried Ella to my room and threw her on the bed.

''Let us know when you'll be ready to talk.'' I said with firm voice and then left the room.

''What did you just do?'' Katie asked me as i locked behind me.

''She didn't listen...'' i sighed.

''Well, you can't just lock her in there!'' said Katie with upset voice.

''Sorry.'' Was the only thing i said to her and then left downstairs.

ELLA'S P.O.V.:

I was laying on the bed, curled up and there were tears running down my face.

I couldn't believe that it was all really happening. They really were some blood sucking creatures and it freaked me out. But what hurt me the most was that Katie seemed ok with it, she wasn't afraid of them, she even had this thing with Niall.

I stayed in bed the whole day and Katie was checking on me from time to time.

''Do you want to eat?'' she asked me.

''Leave me alone...'' i said with barely audible voice. I felt betrayed by her, she was supposed to help me out of this mess.

I felt sick because of everything and the last thing that i wanted was to eat. I stayed in this room for 2 more days i assume, because i could see the sun rising and going down through the curtains.

''Can we please just talk.'' I heard Katie. I ignored her.

''You will have to come out eventually and stop feeling sorry for yourself.'' She said and i felt the bed shifting under her weight. She stroked my cheek and put a strand of hair behind my ear.

I pushed her hand away.

''You gave me no choice Katie...'' i said with my raspy voice from all the crying.

''There is no other way...it's more complicated than it seems, and that is what we are trying to tell you El.'' She said.

''There are other ways, or at least there were...you would've never invited me here that'd be one of the options Katie. But you're selfish! If you want this fine, but i can't believe you pushed me in this mess along!'' i said to her and now i sat up. There was a tear rolling down her cheek.

''I'm sorry, but maybe if you could listen to us you would see that i'm not really the one that is being selfish here. '' she said and with that left the room.

What did she even mean by that? That i'm here for someone else?
