Mattheo Riddle

Saturday

"We were gone for less than ten fucking minutes!" Pansy yelled as she shoved Theo back. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"And you were supposed to be gone for good," Draco groaned, spitting blood onto the floor.

"Are you okay?" Daisy asked as she squated down in front of me. She placed her surprisingly cold hand onto the side of my face, making me look her in the eyes. "What happened?" she whispered.

"You better keep your fucking hands off my girl, McKinnon!" Theo yelled.

"Don't," I grunted, softly and gently pushing her hand away from me.

She didn't move. She didn't flinch. She didn't do anything. Not like people usually do when I react like this.

"I would never, Nott. Not until she fucking drops your fucking ass."

Theo was ready to jump at him again, but Pansy shoved him back again. "Fucking stop it. You're all covered in fucking blood!"

"You're bleeding, Mattheo," Daisy said, making me meet her calm eyes. "Don't-"

"I'm fine," I groaned, looking around me.

I was on the floor near the bathroom door, Alex not so far from me, standing. I remember that I grabbed him when he tried to get to Theo, but after that was a blank.

Draco's teeth were covered in blood. He must've bitten down onto his tongue or cheek.

Theo had a bruise forming under his left eye. He also had clearly fidgeting fingers, and they were curling in and out of fists.

Alex looked furious, with a bloody nose. He clearly wanted to keep fighting.

I on the other hand felt fine, besides the fact that Daisy said I was bleeding. But I don't know where. I didn't feel anything.

"Fuck sakes, Theo. Get out of here and get some fucking air," Pansy insisted, pushing him towards the door. "Fuck off."

She then turned to the other two boys. "Draco, go flush your mouth. I'll check for the wound. Alex, relax yourself. Mattheo, get into that bathroom and let Daisy help you clean that fucking wound. I'll get rid of that," she said, pointing at what I realized to be a shattered bed lamp.

"Come on," Daisy said, holding her hand out.

"I'm fine," I said, managing to get myself to my feet.

She just stood back, letting me stand. Then she followed me into the bathroom. I saw myself in the mirror, shocked to see a large cut right under my hairline, across the side of my face.

Draco shoved passed me, leaving the bathroom. I watched him leave, and he surprisingly stepped aside so that Daisy could pass him, entering the bathroom.

"Sit down," she ordered, making me scoff. But I did as she said and sat down on the toilet.

She took a wash cloth and wet it, before stepping in front of me. She lightly placed her hand on my chin, making me look up.

"This'll do," she said softly, wiping the apparent running blood from the cut.

I watched her in silence. I was hoping for a sense of fear, or panic, or worry; but I was disappointed to find nothing. She was calm and seemed emotionally locked out.

Only when I examined her, I noticed her wet hair and clothes.

"Why are you wet?" I asked, making her sweet eyes meet mine.
