Theodore Nott
Thursday
We were all getting worried down to the bone - or these that actually worried about Daisy. Draco, Blaise, and of course Mattheo were barely ever to be seen around the Hospital Wing.
Daisy laid in that stupid medical bed for two days now. She hadn't woken up, and she wasn't getting much better.
Mattheo had grabbed the side of her head, and shoved her right into a wall. His anger issues had gotten the best of him, and tomorrow he'd be standing in front of the Ministry of Magic in court. He stands accused of countless murders, and now he stood trial of abuse. He was really carrying out his father's last name - and probably his mother's blood too.
Not that I'm much innocent. I got detention, and if I get into another fight, I can be suspended for months. I stand chance to not even finish my seventh year at Hogwarts, or at all.
Alex and Draco merely only got detention(s). They have about three, and I have five. They're lucky.
"Nothing?" I asked, looking up at Madam Pomfrey.
She looked at me with sorrow, before shaking her head. "She's still out, sweetheart. I did tell you it'll take time. She got hit pretty hard."
Of course she did. I don't think I've ever seen so much blood fall from someone's head.
"May I?" I asked, gesturing to her nearly lifeless body on the bed in the far corner of the wing.
Madam Pomfrey sighed. "Which class are you ditching?"
"Potions," I sighed. "Snape's in a bad mood as it is. I don't want to cause more trouble..."
She smiled. "Alright, but hide when I call out. He might know you're hiding here."
He'd leave me, I'm sure. He wouldn't have trouble in his class, and I'd be out of his hair. He wouldn't even care, to be honest. He'll surely notice, but he wont say a thing.
I made my way to Daisy's bed, before sitting down beside her. I've hurt her so badly, I was afraid that if she woke up, she'd still hate me. Not that I'll blame her. She has the full right - as long as she survives.
I'm sure I've been here at least thirty hours in the last two days. I'm behind on sleep, homework, and exercise. It's fine.

"Theodore?"
My head shot up, immediately looking at Daisy, but she was still out cold. Then my eyes wondered around her bed, until I saw Pansy look down at me with a plate of food.
"Thought you'd be hungry."
I gave a soft, thankful smile, standing up, before taking the plate. While I stood by the medical table in front of Daisy's bed, Pansy sat down where I once sat. The food didn't look as good as it usually did in the Great Hall. Although, I did eat it; I was starving.
"Still nothing?" Pansy asked, taking Daisy's hand.
I shook my head as I swallowed rice and goulash. "No. She's still out cold. Madam Pomfrey doesn't know until when. Could still be a couple of days."
"Since when were you here?" she asked me.
"Potions."
"Third period?" she asked, shocked.
I sighed. "At least I went to Herbology, right?"
Daisy grunted, and both our eyes shot to her. Yet, she remained as she was - her eyes closed, and her body frozen.
"I hope she's okay," Pansy sighed as she laid down on her arms, looking up at Daisy. "We were fighting just before we came running down those stairs."
"What about?" I asked through chewing.
"She thought that I was in on your fucking bet," she chuckled in semi-amusement.
"I wasn't in on it," I admitted. "I tried to avoid it."
Pansy turned her head, looking up at me. "But the others were in on it? All three of them?"
"They found so much amusement in the new girl that they didn't care. Alex changed his mind, I guess." I put more food in my mouth, and Pansy sighed, looking at her again.
"She's never wanted to hurt someone. She's always so sweet and innocent - and Mattheo took that from her."
"He took that from a lot of girls." I sighed, looking Daisy. "I can't believe I did that to Beth too."
"You're all assholes, Theo," Pansy told me.
"I know," I admitted. "But maybe I can change, right?" I asked, looking at her.
Pansy turned her head, meeting my eyes. "Can you really? For some girl?"
"She's not some girl," I said, looking at Daisy. "She's never just been some girl. She's always been Daisy."
"Parkinson!" Astoria yelled as she appeared in the entrance of the Hospital Wing.
"Shit," Pansy said as she scurried to her feet.
"What did you do?" I asked.
She smiled 'innocently'. "I just put tye dye in McGonagall's washer."
"For fuck sakes," I laughed, before she started running for her life.
Oh, she's always causing trouble.
I looked back down at Daisy, while pushing the empty plate forward. I sat back down beside her, taking her hand.
"Are you alright?" Madam Pomfrey asked as she appeared on the other side of the bed.
I smiled softly, but weakly. "I'm sure I will be..."
I ought to be, if Daisy woke up. Otherwise I wouldn't forgive myself...
"I have errands to run, but you'll be alright here alone with her, right?" Madam Pomfrey asked.
Nodding, I looked up at her. "Yeah. I won't set something on fire, again..."
She smiled. "Alright. I won't be long."
I watched as she left, before I let out a sigh, looking at Daisy.
"I knew I loved you the moment I met you. I just hoped that I'd never have to see you again. I was clearly stupid, and so fucking wrong."
