People rarely try to understand the infinite
And it is even rarer that they can grasp the incomprehensibility of the infinite
The nature of infinity is that it is so big that it is beyond comprehension.
It is not just incomprehensible, but it is beyond that.
But there still are infinite things in our world.
Numbers are infinite
Ideas can include the infinite
And for a few very lucky or unlucky people, feelings can be infinite
It can be anger, sadness, numbness and many other
But most of them are negative since negative feelings can grow easier than positive ones.
But there is one exception to this rule
One positive emotion that can grow into the infinite
It enables people to do the impossible
It gives people the motivation and strength to move mountains
And that feeling is love
Love that is so big that it goes beyond incomprehensible
Love that won't ever allow the other person to leave
And that is the level of love I have for you
If we assign love a value
And that value is expressed in points
Then the average love will have around 5 to 7 points
Strong love has 50 or more
And people that would catch a bullet for their lover are over 500
If we use that kind of scale for love, then my loves score can't even be written out
Even if all the atoms in the universe are converted into zeros that are chained behind a 1
Even if the quarks that make up those atoms are used instead of the atoms
Even if there was a universe full of particles for every particle in existence and we used that
Even then we wouldn't have a number high enough to write out my love for you
I'd do the impossible for you

I don't know if my love really is infinite or if it merely approaches the infinite
But it still is beyond human comprehension

The closest thing to infinity in size that we interact with every day is "everything"
Not everything as in every single thing is as big
No
Everything. All that exists.
Not as parts, but as a whole
Everything as a whole approaches the infinite.
But even that is impossible to imagine.
So mayne we just take the thing that is closest to everything in concept.
That would be nothing.
Pure nothingness.
Since the two are opposites they are very similar
Like two sides of the same coin.
But even true nothingness is impossible to imagine.
One can imagine single parts of it
One can experience it
But one can still not experience or comprehend it.
Some people obviously are closer to nothingness than others
They can imagine more parts
They can imagine the experience
But that still isn't even close to what true nothingness is.
So we need to choose something else.
Something simpler.
The closest thing to nothingness, that we can understand, is one thing
A single thing
A small thing

So a single small thing is the closest we have to the infinite.
Nothing else even comes close to it
Even a billion trillion things don't come close
So the furthest from it that we can achieve actually has the strongest connection to it and is the closest.

This all is what I try to express when I say "I love you"
Writing long texts like this is big and flashy
It impresses people and conveys feelings
But for me it often feels... shallow
There is no depth
Just a set hight that varies from person to person
Just a bit of beauty
But beauty isn't what I want to create
I want to express my infinite love

Next I tried stacking the statement on top of one another
I repeatedly wrote "I love you I love you I love you"
And even if it is simple, it was closer to expressing it than the texts
It was ugly and the words lost their meaning
But it still showed a certain amount of love, even if it couldn't be felt from the messages anymore

After doing that for a while I realised.
And I stopped.
The closest thing to the infinite is a single thing
So "I love you" is closer to expressing infinite love than anything else

It has more depth than anything else if one understands the meaning behind it.
And I only want you to know the meaning behind it.
( Even though I really want to share a slightly modified version of this on reddit
But I want my "I love you" to stay special
To be just for you
So I won't ever share it. )

So every time I write I love you I try to express my infinite love for you
I try to express the inexpressible
