How being possessive is not true love
I asked him what he thought about that

I dont quite understand what the goal of you sending me this message is.
You will be with us, no matter what
So we will have to find a way around that then, if you truly didn't want it.
While possessiveness certainly isn't normal it is a way of showing love
It can lead to many bad things of course and I am aware of that
But so can too much freedom.
There is a balance between the two that needs to be kept.
Freedom isn't necessarily true love, but it is a bit closer than possessiveness
And a bit of possessiveness can make a person feel alot more loved
For there to be freedom there needs to be trust
And while we trust you, we don't trust others.
Others can do bad thing so one of the main objectives of controlling you is to protect you from that
I am sure that you could protect yourself just fine
But still
I just want to make sure.
The second aspect of why I want control is that I don't like having no control.
What are beings without control, but animals
Control is one of the things that make us conscious
One of the things that separate us from animals
So isn't me wanting control over the thing that is most important to me just natural?
And it is far easier to show love through possessiveness than through freedom
There are 1 or 2 other things but I think that should be enough for now.
