He turned with a grin.

"—but today I am off to hunt."
"And who is the prey, dear brother? Another wench who refused you?" Klaus asked tone laced with mockery.
Kol's blood boiled but he covered it up with a smirk, "No Lady can resist me. No, my prey today is a witch—a powerful one—a newbie in the city. They call him 'Black Messiah'."
Klaus' smirk fell of his face, "A new witch? Is this Black Messiah a threat? WHY HAVE I NOT HEARD OF IT?"
"Calm yourself brother, he may be new, but he is powerful and better an ally then an enemy—and if he is a threat then well—threats to the family are to be dealt with swiftly. Invite him to the ball, Kol." Elijah said, ever the mediator.
Klaus smiled then and nodded, "Very well then little brother, meet us later when you are finished. For witches old or new are a pain in the ass."
"Language! Neeklaus." Elijah reprimanded, only to be ignored.

Kol smirked, "Of course Nik," He said before dashing off in search of his prey, his target, The witch.
They did not notice a crow sitting on the windowsills listening to every word, before it flew off.
