Stefan was not deflecting okay? He was not. It was just that he had missed his fratello. No other reason for his continued attempts at changing the subject nuh uh. And surely not confronting the whole 'Damon' named bag of shit. He just wants some time with his brother without Damon's annoying presense, is it to much to ask? Damon had already spent SEVEN YEARS with Renato without him, granted that he wasn't born---but still!

It has been a century since he saw Ren, okay? His dutiful brother who didn't have a rebellious bone in his body, his brother whose love language was sneaked out pastries. Who was so oblivious to romantic love that one time when that woman tried to play damsel in distress, he asked her to fall a little more naturally so that no one suspects foul play! He even judged her on her tripping technique and timing!

Sue him, if the engaged to married part took him by suprise. And if that wasn't enough his beloved brother had to choose a man, a original vampire at that---the most notorious one too! Their father would be rolling in his grave. It's not that Stefan was judging him or that he had any problem with his brothers fiance being a man!---Ren raised him better than that!

It's just that--that Renato (--itachi? Wasn't that the name they called Black Messiah too? Now that's another can of worms he is not touching---) was in loovee! Something he hadn't thought capable of feeling outside family.

Stefan was drowning in a whirlwind of emotions and surprisingly the bloody path he cut down through the states was the last thing on his mind. Suprise o suprise he wasn't even registering the guilt when all he could focus on was his seemingly alive brother standing infront of him!

And what was up with the embarrassing things that Ren keeps exposing everytime he opened his mouth.(---him peeing in an alcohol bottle to replace the sake they drank pit of curiosity was not something he wanted his lover and her brother to know, ever!)

Klaus nudged him sharply in the kidney--which ouch--- made him realise that he was standing and staring at nothing with a particularly anguished expression for a little too long that even Kol was looking a bit concerned about him being an dolt.

Stefan giggled, causing everyone to stare at him even more baffled. He abruptly covered his mouth on realizing that infernal sound came from his mouth. His!

"Mate, are you-- are you okay?" Nik asked hesitantly, that should have been his first red flag that something was seriously wrong because Nik-the-big-bad-hybrid didn't do concern. That's like---like Giuseppe asking him if he was happy with his life!

He giggled again, his head was throbbing now--the sharp pain was not stopping at all! He was a vampire(--hiss) not some some human! He should not even he able to feel a headache!

"I think we broke him, darling." He heard someone say, his vision was getting blurry now.

He felt someone holding him upwards, soft hands, gentle hands. Bekah! So pretty!

He felt someone else holding him then, ooh he could feel the heat that Ren always emited, furnace that he was! Alive with him. Where is Day?
