Remember when I said how hard can it be. Welllll it can be very very very hard. I was very slow in climbing the fence and wen I finally reached the top I heard the guards coming. I panicked, missed my step and fell. I closed my eyes waiting for impact but it never came. I opened one eye and saw HIM staring at me amusement dancing in his eyes. We stared at each other for like forever before he finally blinked and dropped me.
"Asshole", I muttered
" So you're out, where too?"
"I know my way around so just follow me and shut up", I said dusting my clothes
"Hey that's no way to talk to someone that just brought you out of your prison"
"Whatever"
We walk in silence till I reach my destination.
"The Children's Hospital?", he asked confused.
I ignore him and enter. I missed this place.
" Princess Rhoda", someone calls out. I turn around to see Anne. She looks just like I remember. Her cray hair in a ponytail and her glasses as funny as ever.
"Anne, I've missed you." I say giving her a hug
"I've missed you to. When you stopped coming since last month I thought you finally got caught"
I laughed," I almost did though"
"Well let's go meet them"
She ushered inside and I spent the next 30 minuted playing and reading to the kids.
"Rhoda we need to get going"
I raised up my head to see HIM. I had almost forgotten he was here. I give all the kids a kiss on their and finally head out.
On our way back he finally broke the silence.
"That was pretty cool. I always wondered why you wanted to leave your house so badly but I could never imagine it was for that"
I just shrugged not knowing how to respond.
"You're actually not that bad", he whispers to himself.
I smile to myself as we finally reach the fence.
" Here", I say handing him the remaining half of the money.
He pockets it and asks "Can you climb the fence yourself."
"Yeah, I'm sure I can."
"OK", he said already heading back
" Hey, I still don't know your name?"
He looked at me with those mesmerizing greg eyes. It looked like he was wondering whether or not to tell me
"Bruce"
I smiled and said, "Bruce what"
He smirked and said, "Bruce Wayne"
I had to cover my mouth to stop myself from giggling.
"Your named after Batman."
He rolled his eyes playfully. He must get that reaction a lot
"Goodnight princess", he said before walking away.
"Good night Bruce"
